get a screen protector

It's a bit less prone to drops than it comes out the box. That said, the case has a very minimal bumper top and bottom standing proud of the screen which does nothing to protect the phone when dropped onto a surface. I'd either purchase with a tempered glass screen protector or go for something a little more full coverage.
