My case developed a chip on one corner, leading Mous to send me a replacement. This allowed me to do a side by side after ~5 weeks of daily use. As is very clear, the blue color is already dulled and brown, even after being cleaned. This is incredibly disappointing, as I expect my replacement will tarnish in about the same period of time.

Aside from the color, I would rate this case generally well. It feels really nice in the hand, with a little bit of texture making it feel premium in the hand. The Magsafe magnet in the case seems solid and worked with all the accessories I tried with it. There are no buttons on the case, just gaps to use the actual buttons on the phone; preference-wise I'd have preferred buttons as part of the case, but it wasn't hard to adjust to finding the now inset buttons.

I haven't had any major drops onto concrete or the like, so I cannot speak to how it holds up to that.

Mous support was very helpful in getting me a replacement for the chip seen in image 3. I would expect them to support the case well in the case of a more catastrophic failure as well. However, their warranty policy states they won't replace for merely cosmetic issues and will not honor the warranty on a replacement case. That's probably fair, but unless they expect me to purchase a new case every 2 months to maintain the color, I'm going to have to go with a different manufacturer.

Overall, I already felt this case was probably a bad value for the money when I received it, despite feeling and looking very nice. However, it's premium look has evaporated basically immediately. Perhaps if one were to buy the black case, they wouldn't have this issue, but is it too much to ask to have a nice looking, nice feeling case with some personality?
