Although it took me 2 attempts to get the screen protector in place using the supplied tools and watching the video, the protector went in place great. It was straight, and fit my Galaxy S24 Ultra perfectly. Five stars for installation.
Once I started using it, that's where the first star gets taken way. The Ultra has the fingerprint sensor under the screen and this screen protector interferes with it. Most times I need to press 3 or 4 times to have the phone recognize my thumb print. Occasionally my biometrics error out and I have to enter my passcode. Without the protector, it usually worked first try. I haven't used any other product so I don't know if this is a better brand for recognizing my print or if it's on the worse side but I would rather go without than have to keep fighting the fingerprint recognition because of the protector.
The other star gets taken off because over the past month, the protector had been slowly sliding out of place. I'm not constantly gaming or using my phone ... it spends most of the day in my warm pants pocket. You can see from the images that it's moving up and off the phone screen. the cutout in the protector is almost completely covering the camera. The other photo shows how the protector is coming loose at the edges.
Last comment is that the surface of the protector feels "sticky," for lack of a better word. If you're only tapping on the screen you probably wouldn't notice it, but when you're swiping (my preferred keyboard gesture when spelling out words) there's a resistance to the motion. It's not effortless and smooth like when you're moving a finger across the original glass screen. If they can fix these things, I'll try it again. Considering that these weren't outrageously expensive, I don't feel like I need to ask for a refund. I have one screen remaining and I'll go through it before ordering another brand or chancing it without a screen protector.
