I purchased this fan for my mother. She has COPD and often has times she's having issues breathing and has to use an inhaler. I noticed when I put a personal fan on her it helped her with her breathing, the inhalers can be overused and you can only get one a month so noticing the moving air working for her I looked for a fan with a remote.
When I came across this Oscillating fan with vortex I knew this would be perfect! The idea that you can change it's up or down position or side to side, fan speed etc. from the remote made it perfect for her.
The price made me cringe a little but months later I realize it's worth the price especially for people who can't jump up and down endlessly without difficulty to change the direction the fan is blowing, speed etc.
I'd for sure recommend this fan especially for older individuals that have mobility issues and are in need of a fan they can control without effort.
I would have given this 5 stars however the price is hard for people on set incomes (although worth it) and the remote control is rather small and it takes a bit of use to just know what buttons do what so you don't have to depend on reading the functions.
