Bought these for a trip to Costa Rica in rainy season. Took them swimming, rafting, in pouring rain, ziplining, rappelling in a waterfall, and fording rain-swollen river. Completely water-tight, as advertised. Closure was easy to use. Phone touchscreen worked fine through the plastic, even when wet (though I did not have occasion to try it when completely submerged). Photos taken through plastic looked fine. Lanyard and associated buckles seemed strong enough. There was plenty of room inside for my Pixel 3 and an auxiliary power pack. I agree with pro-tip I found on other reviews: put camera into pouch with the top of the camera down, to allow better access to buttons, and more distance between camera lens and lanyard. Overall, a really good buy. I'd recommend it highly!
