So I have a Note 20 Ultra. My screen is cracked. I started to file a claim - it says I need to Credit card pay $129 to file.. Then the directions are to turn in the phone at a fix place and get a Egift card for reimbusement of my phone .. Which I paid $549 for 1 year ago. well I don't want to turn in my phone. So for me to get it fixed I still have to pay $129 to this Asurion - which they call a PRE AUTH... then I pay out of my own money again for the repair. I have found the screen repair for $286.99... direct. .. So then if I finish my claim - with the $129 and what I paid repair place - totals $415.99.. They say they will remburse me for the fix.... and I have to wait 10-15 days for refund. ... Well at this point _ I dont trust they will refund or if they choose not to - How will i get the money I just PUT OUT!!!. What a crock of INS... I canceled. Wasted months of paying!!.. . I will go direct myself and Pay $286.99 to get fixed and be done!... This bull of paying first for the fix.. and OR the $129 is for leaving my phone and turning it in. .So why would I have to pay that if I want my phone fixed!.(which is $39 or $69 pay upfront according to their schedule- Turn in for replacement is $129!) Which I read this Service Fee is NON REFUNDABLE!! Makes sooooo little sense to me. Ya let me put all this money out first and hope you reimburse me!?? lol.. think not. Canceled and will handle on my own .. it's CHEAPER! ugh!! spent too many hours on chat with all this .. waste of time! I do NOT RECOMMEND...
