Filter replacement light never worked. Now I am unsure when to replace filters. EDIT: I just had a great email interface with Brita Customer Service. They are sending a replacement Pitcher due to the malfunction on mine. I am very happy with their Customer satisfaction focus. They also included tips for resetting the filter light, which I will include below. Thanks Brita!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To begin troubleshooting, take a look at your pitcher to determine where the indicator is located.
If the indicator is on the top of your pitcher’s lid: Press and hold down the STATUS button. Hold it there for 2 seconds if you’re using a white filter or 6 seconds if you have a blue filter. Release the button when the green light next to your filter icon flashes three times by itself. If the indicator is on the underside of your pitcher’s lid: Under the icon for your filter type, press and hold down the reset button for 5 seconds. Release the button when the light flashes three times.
