They are what they are promised to be. The fabric is a bit polyester-y but it has nice stretch and it isn't thin, you won't see your booty if you bend over. The leg is longer so it covers up cottage cheese thighs nicely. I love the high waist. I have a bit of a mommy belly business and it gives me a little tummy support. I think the size might run a tiny bit big. I am 5'6 and 180. I got a large, I could have gone medium maybe...I don't have much booty at all.
