My husband is not easy on electronics, so we had to find something that was heavy duty and would protect his phone from all the falls it would take over its life time. This has done it. Very sturdy and stays in place, thick hard plastic protects every corner and side from breaking. Since it overlaps the screen, it also has the added benefit of some screen protection barring something isn't dropped directly on the screen.
