If you have Cricket, don't waste your time. Not compatible!

The product description says this phone is compatible with GSM carriers, but it should state that it's NOT compatible with all GSM carriers. I could not get data service to connect after configuring APN settings and it would only switch between "no service" and "emergency calls only". After that, I entered the IMEI on Cricket's website and it stated that "this Galaxy A12 is not compatible on Cricket's network". The phone seemed pretty decent, otherwise.
