It's slim, fits the phone just right, and is a nice starter case. It almost feels like you do not have a case on at all. It definitely helps with making the phone less slippery to hold too.
The only thing I dislike about it is that the lips on the sides do not come over the side of the phone at all. If you accidentally drop the phone on it's face the screen would shatter, so I recommend a screen protector or to use this case when you're at home, not out and about where it might accidentally fall out your hand or pocket.
I use gestures on my device and the case is comfortable to use with gestures. It doesn't block me from swiping on any part of the screen. The USB c port is also not blocked by the case (I use stock cable and an Anker cable that has a little bit bigger "head" plastic part where you plug it into the phone). The camera portion is not covered by the case but the area of the case around the camera is raised so it does not scratch against a surface when you sit your phone down.
All in all great little starter case I'm happy with to use around the house. The clear portion on the back does pick up on finger prints and dust, but I don't really mind. I just wipe it off on fabric and it's clear from smudges again. It's still very clear plastic and the clear window on the matte black case is just big enough for you to put photos between the phone and case :)
