I wasn't really sure what to expect, getting an evening gown off of Amazon. I'm more a Macy's or Nordstrom's gal who will pay several hundred dollars for a designer gown that looks good on me.
Boy was I surprised with this dress. It is very well made. The stretch of the dress body hugs in a flattering accentuate the curves, not a show every lump and roll way.
My only "complaint" is that I will have to hem this. I'm 5'3 and even with heels this was a bit long. If you are 5'6 or taller--you will be an absolute knockout in this dress.

My Boyfriend's Jaw Dropped!
It's true - I met up with him for lunch and his jaw dropped. He stopped in his tracks. The first picture I posted is almost the one he has for his phone wallpaper. I felt beautiful in this dress! I know it was overcast in the image, but the blue truly is a great royal blue. I have my knee out in the second picture so you can see the slit. I'm also wearing flat shoes (so you would probably look a little different wearing this with heels).The edges are serged and look very secure. The stitching is holding well, even with a two-way stretch fabric! The rouching is nice and not too much. Personally, the slit is a little high for me when I sit, but I can pin/sew the rouching over and it will look fine. I'm not wearing a bra specifically meant for off-shoulder dresses, so I think it's great that the dress wears on the body in such a way that it isn't noticeable.It wasn't itchy, but the fabric wasn't very soft either - in case that matters. I like it! I would get one in a different color.

I’m not the most attractive nor shapely person in the world but this dress made me feel amazing!
The dress is made from a heavy weight fabric that has a great amount of stretch. It has a well placed slit on the leg with a cute ruffle. The dress is cut well across the bias and has a great ribbon detail on the shoulder. To make it easier to get into the dress there is a zipper under the arm.
I have a little weight on my stomach and the ruffle stitch across my waist hides the mummy tummy, I can’t wait to wear this dress as it made me feel beautiful.

I am mystified by the high reviews of this dress. The polyester is thick and not see through, which is nice, but definitely not anything special. The trim on the edges, including the shoulder drape and the ruffle is a cheap overcast serger stitch that started to fray with one washing (see pictures). It does need body shaper help if you have lumps and bumps like I do, but that is not the dresses fault. I could see this for a cheaper dress for a one time cruise or other somewhat formal event. I would not wear this to a true formal, black tie event as it looks like what it is, a cheap, okay option for a one or two time wearing where you don’t want to spend a lot of money. That said, I probably would not buy this in a store for this price after seeing the seams and the fabric. I would be tempted to put the money towards something nicer that I would wear a few more times. This would be comfortable to wear and walk in as it is stretchy and not binding, but I still would not buy it off the rack.

This is one of my new favorite dresses! I am always cautious about getting dresses because I have a small chest and many dresses I find do not fit well for that. I ordered a size small and it fit me perfectly! I love the mermaid style slit on the side of the dress and enjoy how the slit goes just a few inches above my knees without revealing more. It can be hard to find modest dresses with slits and are stylish for a good price, but I highly recommended this dress! The "bow" on the shoulder of the dress honestly isn't bow, rather three pieces of material sewn in a fashionable cascade over each side which I like much better than bulky bows. I can't wait to wear this dress in the future!

I was so excited when I pulled this dress out of the packaging! The quality of the fabric was the first thing I noticed, as it has a nice weight to it and is not thin at all. I'd describe the fabric as a stretch crepe like you'd see in a boutique or nice department store. The fit is so flattering, and really draws attention to your shoulder and waist. The long bow on the one shoulder adds a flirty touch to the shape of the dress. This was true to size for me, in Medium. I DO like my dresses to be form-fitting, to be a bodycon style. If you like more room, definitely order up a size. I'm 5'4" and 137lbs, 36DD, and curvy.
The leg slit is very modest at knee level, along with a ruffle. The dress has a great swag to it when you move. Pick this up for a black tie wedding or summer party, the other colors are super pretty and a bit less formal than the black.
