    Great webcam for the price

    Great webcam for the price
This stylish little webcam is actually a really good deal for the price. It is plug and play and just seems to work well right out of the box.Good:- The auto focus for up close is *really* good. I was able to hold up my hand an 1/2 inch or inch away from the lens and it was able to blur out the background completely and capture all the little wrinkles on my hand.- Low light is pretty decent. My office is pretty dark at night by camera standards, and it was able to mostly capture movement with a decent amount of clarity.- In good lighting, this does great. The frame rate increases when there is more light and the quality of picture is better too.- It appears to be USB 3.0 which supports higher data transmission rates, that's good for a camera that is outputting in 4k.- The privacy flap is great and should be included on all webcams. It has a little sticky part to mount it to the camera. While I'm not sure why it isn't mounted by default (maybe some people don't want that?) it was easy to install- There are three ways to mount this, 1) sitting position with the folding mechanism fully collapsed, 2) using a standard camera screw mount, on the bottom of the folding mechanism, or 3) the top of a screen using the folding mechanism. All three seem to be secure and stable options.- The camera sits on a ball joint so that it can swivel as needed, so you quickly mount this on your screen without getting it perfect and then adjust to direction to what you want. The up/down movement is a little limited, but side-to-side is full 360 degrees. It is easy to adjust, but seems snug enough that it wont slouch once adjusted.Neutral:- Lowlight causes framerate to drop a small amount, for a budget friendly camera though, I think this is expected.- The software they want you to download seems to be bloatware. A lot of times companies seem to make software to just get at settings in a little friendlier way. I didn't find any special settings in the software that I couldn't find natively within windows camera settings. However, if you are brand new to owning a webcam, you might find the software helpful.- The manual doesn't provide a lot of information, but thankfully, the product doesn't need a lot of explanation. The camera is mostly just plug and play to begin with.- Don't expect to get that depth of field look of a video streamer, unless extremely close range (1-2 inches away). This means that most items in your environment will be in focus. More "professional" video setups tend to have a crisp subject (you) and a soft/blurry background. Not great:- The audio is typical webcam audio. It seems to do a decent enough job with audio by webcam standards, but if you have a separate audio source (like I did in the video) use it!Overall this is a great webcam in the sea of webcams. The price is great especially for the quality. This is a great option for standard video uses, like online meetings and demonstration videos. However, in my opinion if you wanted a more "professional" streamer look to your video, you might need to get something with an optical lens to get that depth of field look, as this will make most things in your environment in-focus. To reiterate, the camera does what it does very well though, but just something to keep in mind depending on your needs.

My high-end Dell laptop has a surprisingly lousy built-in camera, so I wanted a USB plug-in. This one is excellent, and it works immediately.

I recently upgraded my video conferencing setup with the EMEET NOVA 4K webcam, and let me tell you, the picture quality is undeniably impressive. But is it all just fancy pixels, or does it elevate the video call experience? Here's a breakdown after a month of use:

Crystal Clear 4K Resolution: Wow. The image quality is stunning. Clients and colleagues constantly remark on how crisp and professional my video looks. This webcam can make a difference if you deal with many presentations or detailed visuals.

Focus Like a Laser: The PDAF autofocus keeps my face sharp, even during mid-call adjustments. No more blurry meetings!

Noise Cancelling Ninja: The dual mics do a great job of filtering out background noise. Even with a noisy neighbor drilling (thanks, apartment life!), my voice comes through clearly.

4K Demands: Running a 4K webcam requires a powerful computer and a fast internet connection. If your system isn't up to par, you might experience lag or choppiness.

Wide View Might Not Be Ideal: The 73° field of view is great for capturing more than just your face, but if you have a messy background or share your workspace, it might reveal more than you bargained for.

The EMEET NOVA 4K webcam is a performer for video conferencing. The 4K resolution, autofocus, and noise cancellation are impressive.

    Pros-

Came right up on Windows 11. I didn't have to do anything. Love that.

    Cons -

The USB cable is a little short, so I had to do some re-wiring to get it to a USB socket. That may not be an issue for many.

I saw no improvement from the 4K what-so-ever. Perhaps that's because its software limitation (ZOOM) that limits me from benefiting from a 4K improvement - but - that's what I'm using. I explored settings to see if (perhaps) I could improve it - but I didn't find anything.

Finally - the mechanism for sitting on my monitor is very 'touchy' and I had difficulty finding a position on it. The camera had great difficulty dealing with my green screen for some reason.

For all those 'cons' I went back to my HD1080p Logitech.

Step aside, Hollywood! The EMEET NOVA 4K Webcam is here to turn your home office into a blockbuster movie set. With its Ultra 4K HD resolution, every wrinkle on your forehead during those high-end business meetings will be captured in stunning detail. Who knew that ‘High Definition’ could be so…defining?

The autofocus is so sharp, it could probably focus on the existential crisis you’re having during your 3rd Zoom call of the day. And those Dual Noise-Cancelling Mics? They’re so good at cancelling noise, they might just cancel out your boss’s long monologue. If only they could cancel out Mondays, am I right?

The Field of View is wide enough to capture your cat’s unexpected cameo during your live stream. But don’t worry, the Auto Light Correction ensures that your feline friend is always ready for their close-up, no matter the lighting conditions.

The USB Plug & Play feature is as easy as pie. And by pie, I mean the one you stress-baked during your last conference call. And let’s not forget the Privacy Cover. It’s the digital equivalent of a “Do Not Disturb” sign, perfect for when you need to switch from ‘professional mode’ to ‘pajama mode’.

In conclusion, the EMEET NOVA 4K Webcam is the ideal co-star for your high-end business meetings and live streams. It’s like having your own personal paparazzo, minus the chase through the city streets. Now, if only it could fetch coffee…
