Ok Comfy chair for average or tall people, great instructions
Review of "Office Chair Ergonomic Desk Chair, Computer PU Leather Home Office Chair with Adjustable Lumbar Support. . ." (PU leather = polyurethane leather)Good things:- Great instructions, straightforward assembly -Soft, but not too soft, cushion and a mesh back- Your butt sits lower than the front of the chair, comfortable.- Looks good.- Wheels work smoothly.- All parts are neatly packed and includes the best t-handle Allen wrench I've seen yet, as well as an extra screw of each size just in case.So-so- It's just right for me at 5'9". I'm average I have it almost all the way lowered.- The seat rocks back but that causes the front to rise and your feet can come up off the floor. Unless of course your legs are pretty long.- Lumbar support doesn't seem to adjust, but it is comfortable anyway.- The polyurethane seat material has a crease in it (see photo). Hopefully it disappears over time.Cons:- The back does not lean back relative to the seat, only in that it is connected to the seat, which does lean back (when you pull outward on the height release lever)- I'm not sure of the PU upholstery and how long it will last. It's nice and soft feeling but feels porous and not sturdy. It feels like it could scuff easily, not at all like real leather. Time will tell.Advice:You need to follow the instructions exactly. I assembled the whole lower section including the seat, and then have to remove the seat's bottom bracket to install the right-hand arm rest. The height release lever was in the way. Also, some of the screws are hard to line up so make sure each will easily go in 2 -3 turns otherwise the screw is probably cross threaded and you don't want to strip the threads. Most screws went in about 4-5 turns before starting to seat. It took me about 15 minutes to unpack everything and lay it out. If I had followed the instructions I probably could have assembled it in 15-20 minutes (there are a lot of screws to assemble using the t-handle wrench which is slower but much safer than a cordless drill and I didn't strip any). However, it took longer than that because I didn't follow the instructions exactly and had to remove and later re-attach that seat support bracket. Also take note that getting the arm rest screws into the seat bottom was tricky as the polyurethane material tended to partially block the holes and get in the way of the screw. Be patient. I hope this helps.Conclusion:While it's a nice looking chair and some will love it I can't really recommend it for anyone who is medium height or shorter. I think the upholstery is fine.
