Durable, streamlined, low profile case

I bought this case as a birthday gift for my boyfriend who just got a new galaxy S23. We were impressed with the quality and streamlined fit. The inside of the case also had an addition layer of cushion to absorb shock if dropped but didn’t make the case look bulky. The case also has some texture to it which makes it easy to grip. When my boyfriend put’s his phone down on the dash board or console of the car, it doesn’t slide off because of the added texture on the outside. The matte olive green color looks very masculine as well. While on vacation in Chicago last week, he dropped his phone on the pavement while unloading our bags from the trunk of the car. His phone hit the ground HARD and then bounced!! Not only did this case fully protect his phone, the case didn't get damaged either. He has already asked me if they make the same case in red/black so he can represent for the Falcons when football season starts. Lol. I would buy this case again since it has really proven to be a great buy. If you’re looking for a dependable, lightweight, low profile, protective case that won’t break the bank…here it is!! It’s a 10/10 in our opinion.

Case fits very well- Color is awesome, and the subtle texture helps hold onto the size and weight of the S23 ultra. I have a car mount that uses a magnetic ring to stick to the back of the case, and it was difficult to adhere to the material - but that is no fault of Crave's. I should be very clear that they delivered what I was expecting, and I love the case. Problem easily fixed with a little super glue anyway!
My only concern or feedback to the maker is that the top/bottom bumpers (that protect the screen from contacting a table if the phone we're laid flat on its face) are quite thin. The bottom one especially, I feel, would do well to have a little more substance (where it curls over the phone). Maybe a heavier durometer plastic/rubber material here too, as the thin strip is easily flexed, which may wear & stretch over time.

I have not yet had the case long enough to confirm this, so I certainly can't say this for sure.

All in all,great case at a great price. Made well, and feels like it will protect the phone well with the dual-layer design.

I would recommend it.

I bought the aqua color and it's a really pretty shade. So far it's comfortable in the hand, seems sturdy, easy to press the buttons and my phone , no annoying flap on the bottom that covers the charger port, fits in the case nice and snug. The phone edge seems to be well protected and flush with the case, instead of being raised above the case edge like on some other products in this price range. The camera lenses seem adequately protected against bumps too. Nothing in the way of ejecting or inserting the stylus in its port. Only time will tell if it holds up to drops and knocks.
If I drop my phone and the screen and or the case don't crack, shatter, or otherwise explode, than I'll up the stars to 5.

I'm also a fan of pop sockets so I bought one that has a black cat sitting on a moon. The moon and flowers are both lavender and light teal. It looks great!

I really like the sleeker case. I have had larger ones and they're nice, but I wanted one that was a bit less bulky. This case still provides protection, albeit it likely less than the other ones, but it's easier to hold. I like the texture on the back. It's not super shiny like a lot of them, so it's not going to get scratched. The button functionality is fantastic. I love the strong click that I still get, even with the case on. That's extremely important. I'll decide if I love or hate a case just because of how the buttons feel. The only thing I'm not extremely fond of is so trivial. On the back of the case, there's a bit of the black visible on the bottom. I would prefer the color of the backplate of the case cover the black portion completely. The way that it covers the top portion would be what I'd want at the bottom. The only visible portion of the black would be from the front side that frames the screen and the buttons. I feel like that would make it look much better and oddly enough, more expensive. Again, that's a SUPER trivial detail that isn't a deal breaker in terms of whether or not I love the case.
