Nice gazebo
We finally got this thing up. For reference, we are 2 women, in our 40s and 50, no special skills, decent tools on hand. That means if we can do it anyone can assemble too. The instructions were spot on for the most part, we took our time. Altogether, we spent a full Sunday (about 10-11 hours) and half a day assembling it. Overall, it seems like a nice product that hopefully will last a while. As most reviews state, it is a good idea to not screw everything super tight. However, I think it's just as important to know when to tighten fully because you won't be able to get to that certain spot later. Other issues noted, mainly quality control related. One roof edge (labeled as Ds) did not have a screw slot welded into it. This means that when it came time to secure the roof edging at one corner point, it was just an open space with nothing to catch on to and thus would not secure the roof panel. We fixed this by using a 3/16 toggle bolt that went inside the open space snugly and then screwed into that. That held it together. The panels remind me of cardboard and one of them had a deep dent in it but it wasn't fully broken, which was good. I think it is also important to note that the title of this product includes the word 'permanent' in it however the first thing you see when opening the instructions is that it is not a permanent structure and is a 'temporary, portable shelter'. With all the parts this thing takes, I can't imagine someone waking up and saying let's take down the gazebo and bring it to the beach today. It is definitely not that kind of gazebo so I guess it's just a legalese way of saying we aren't responsible for your mishaps. Lastly, we live in a high wind area and opted to use concrete planets to anchor it. Seems to be working well and extremely heavy. Overall, it's a good product for the price and we are looking forward to enjoying it.

I'll post a picture later. We followed the manual, and outside of a few (read it twice) no problems. Everything matched up perfectly. Had to swap out two screws that stripped. other than that no problems. Doesn't leak, as someone complained, other than rain blowing in from the sides. Not sure how that one guy messed up his roof. I found the metal to be thicker than some others in the big box stores, one small ding (not worth a picture). If you live where the sun shines bright and winter is cold, your paint will fade over time. Repainting in a few years is a given or you could wax it monthly. I'm EXTREMLY HAPPY WITH THE PRICE, THE PRODUCT AND THE LOOK.

We love it, well worth it. Anyone can put this together if you are smart about it. Take your time, organize the parts. Make sure it's plumb and level. Don't take short cuts. We followed a couple of reviews on here and watched a few youtube videos. The best piece of advice was sort your parts into containers and label them. If you are not mechanically inclined, get help. Two of us put this together with two ladders in 3 sessions. In total, going slow, about 16 hours. This is the first time we have been able to use our patio in 5 years. We have had canvas tops for the last 30. They either blow apart in the wind, rip, or the top sags with water when it rains. The frames get bent out of shape and you can't repair them. This is permanent. Also, our patio has a slope diagonally that we had to deal with. It drops about 4" from one corner to the other. We anchored two pieces of 2x6 AC2 ground contact treated lumber under the posts as needed and purchased concrete anchors for those. Then we used 3" deck screws with washers to anchor the posts to that. It's also easier to put in the panels without tightening them in right away because you might have to shimmy others in. You don't want to have to go back and loosen stuff up to adjust. All in all, would do it again. We also fit a 40" patio table, 4 chairs, a wicker rocker and two large wicker chairs inside. The dog is in the middle with her cushion! It's full. We did have one storm so far with 50mph wind, it didn't even creak! It certainly didn't even attempt to blow away like the old canvas ones we had. Would do it again, wish our patio was bigger. I think this just might work as a green house for seed starting in the spring, that would be a bonus. There are clear sides for pop up tents that would fit I think on Amazon.

This gazebo is better than expected. We read reviews and prepared for the worst. Between 2 people, we followed the EASY to follow instructions to the T! That means we checked the direction and side of everything as illustrated. We needed a, drill gun for ease, ladder, and step stool to reach higher areas. It feels sturdy, shades but still get pleasant natural light, the beams and pieces are not as heavy as expected but all put together it feels stable, sturdy and durable. The vendor was accesible, polite, and professional when messaged since product comes in 2 boxes.

We are enjoying our gazebo, however it is not bug proof. There are gaps all along the top rail where the screen hangs. We have modified it with Velcro. The directions were clear. One suggestion would be to include an extra of each kind of screw - most were included but the one screw that came with no threads was not provided as an extra. For the most part the holes lined up in assembly, but when they did not it was challenging to move forward. We would buy this again but hope these suggestions would help the company and future customers.
