I bought these for our cruise. It kept the water out but the touch screen and face recog did not work well. I constantly had to take it out of the case and the secure snaps at the top were so annoying to open each time. I would recommend using these for water excursions only. If you are wanting to use this on a cruise to keep your key card and id in, be prepared to have to take them out when you get on and off the ship, which is a pain in the butt. It didn't cost too much so it's worth having for the next time I need something waterproof with my phone but don't have to take it out often.

I wanted something to keep my phone in while I'm floating in the lake.
