I was cynical that this would keep my iPhone safe under water. Now I regret not using it more! It takes clearer videos than photos, and it kept my iPhone safe! Face recognition worked through the case, although I just mostly pushed the photos button. The hard part was seeing the screen because it was very sunny and bright, but that's a function for the phone, not the case. The case was lightweight and it was nice it had a lanyard, as this was all I brought on the boat to go snorkeling, I even put my ID and cash in the case. Since it was a 2-pack, I even shared the other case to my niece!

I took a vacation in Aruba and while in clear 4-5 feet deep water, we were passing my phone around taking pictures. At one point I forgot to put it back around my neck and didn’t realize it until we had gone back to shore, phone lost at sea we and couldn’t locate where we had been with it last. I had my location shared with my family that I was with so we tried tracking it. An hour later, a stranger was walking around the beach trying to find the owner to the phone that he had found on the ocean floor, 5 feet down. We tracked each other down and I had my phone! It was DRY! Miracles do happen! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PHONE CASE AFTER HAVING MY PHONE ON THE OCEAN FLOOR FOR AN HOUR!

They look great, but it's functionality is the importance here and that's amazing on these waterproof phone cases! We got these for our cruise last month because our waterproof camera took a dive in Grand Turk last summer. Literally...We wanted to make sure that our crazy-expensive phones did NOT do the same thing😆. So, I did 2 tissue tests on each one. The first, weighted down in our tub. The 2nd, I got bold and took them in the shower. Over 5min submerged with all 4 tests. Both of them came through with flying colors! Now onto the "touchability" factor: No problems whatsoever with either of our phones, Samsung Galaxy S9+/ Samsung Note9. Everything worked as tho they weren't even in a case... In AND under the water both worked exceptionally well. (((Bonus: I have my phones camera set to auto-snap a pic when I say "smile"😁 and it worked fine IN the case, just not 💯 of the time underwater)))The ONLY kinda negative thing was that when we were videoing, above AND underwater the sound upon playback once back on the ship was muffled. Not to where you couldn't hear at all, just a funky muffle. BUT again, IF our *waterproof camera* hadn't taken a dive, we'd of just used that and not our phones. Note to self: Buy another brand camera BEFORE our next cruise in Feb!
I will be buying these again, especially since these are great to also use as a stash pouch for things you don't want to leave just laying around when you get into the water and the lanyards let you just toss over your neck and go. I had cash/cabin key in mine along with my phone but it was a super tight fit and I didn't want to hazard overstretching it. All in All, this is truly a great pouch for our needs.

This thing was unreal. I kept my phone in it while on vacation at the beach, in a pool, by a hot tub (not under the water but to be safe), and in a lagoon/spa. 100% waterproof, I really couldn’t believe it. I was hesitant to trust some phone case I got off Amazon, but it really did keep my phone safe! I expected it to affect photo quality since it’s an added layer of thick plastic but no, shockingly got amazing photos regardless. Sometimes it was foggy in the lagoon but wiped off really easily. We had originally bought these for the water slides and they worked great there although the phones were never fully under water. Well my daughter brought one to the lake and had her phone in it. She sat her phone on a floaty for just a second and it fell off into the water. We could not find her phone for at least a good 10 minutes. The water was so cloudy we couldn’t see anything not even with goggles. And it was about 4 1/2 feet deep. I finally found it with my foot. We expected the worst. There was not a single drop of water in that case. Her phone was perfectly fine! Will definitely be buying more!!!
