I was charged for 4 Subscription on One phone I bought. I bought two phones and return one. I found out I have 4 subscriptions on my account I was charged monthly for the last few months. They recognize one charge on one phone but they could not give me on what the other two or three monthly subscriptions charges for. Amazon also requested to contact Asurion, and Asurion sent me back to Amazon. I just canceled all of them, no refund were granted.
i have had 2 phones that got dropped and cracked the screen after a year ,they gave me a refund on the phones unfortunately it was in the form of a amazon gift cards and in order to transfer everything i had to buy new phones before i got the refunds.
Just found out that I have no coverage for my phone despite paying a monthly fee for the last three years. Called Asurion twice and was hung up on twice under the guise of trying to conference call with Amazon. Tried Amazon chat and was told I had no coverage and then was rudely disconnected by the representative. If I had no coverage, then Amazon owes me 3 years of payments.
This is at least the fourth time I have purchased one of these warranties. I made a claim with my first product and they came through with no hassle to provide payment to resolve the issue. I always get their warranty on my phones now.
When I tried to file a claim on 10/17 for my phone, they said my policy was good for the years and expired on 10/15. Although I was disappointed, I just bought a new phone outright. Checking into my Amazon account a month later, and the charges are still coming out for insurance!! I spent 45 minutes on the phone with someone who could not even take down my order number or email properly and when she got somebody different up on the line he spoke with me for a minute and said here's what we are going to do and hung up. They never called back, but had asked me my phone number earlier on the conversation in case we got disconnected. How hard is it to reverse a charge or actually let me file a claim on my God damn phone! I'm so upset
5 weeks later: We have now been refunded for the purchase price of the phone, as such I am raising the rating to 2 stars. The experience of interacting with Asurion, however, was so horrendously unpleasant that I will never use there warranties again. ~ Asurion website is not functional for submitting claims ~ Have to call Asurion to file a claim, they charge $36 to file the claim ~ Asurion "UbreakIFix" store broke the phone further ~ Had to take the phone to another "UbreakIFix" store ~ probably a total of 10 phone calls with Asurion, all highly unpleasant
