Charges every month and then when you need to use it there is another fee of $129. Could purchase new for half of what I've paid them.

I filed a claim for a broken screen and they told me the only option is to pay them $138 to have the phone replaced. The phone works fine I just want a new screen. They are deceptive

I had a ongoing monthly fee for cell phone coverage through Asurion, having paid in for 3 years and 2 months via Amazon when I tried to make a claim on a cracked screen. I was given the runaround by both Asurion and Amazon with unlimited hours wasted online and on the phone with reps. A repair NEVER was provided.

4 calls to asurion and amazon. They confirm plan is "terminated" - yet befuddled on why they cannot turn off the $7.99 every month. There's not even a phone to protect any longer- they took it.

Now I get to call customer services over and over and over again to at least try to refund the charge they cannot stop.

They'll get you your money with enough hassle, but they certainly will not make it easy.

EDIT. one year later.

Still being charged. they still "cant stop the monthly charge"

Feels.like im porforming for a circus. Ive been jumping through hoops since March 25th and still haven't been able to get my phone fixed. Ive sent the amazon receipt for the phone and for the asurion plan. Ivesent them a screenshot of my iemi as well as photos of broken screen. Front and back of phone. Screenshot of about phone. Everything and they keep saying to send the receipt of plan a d phone purchase. Ive sent it several times.

THEY DO NOT, THEY DO NOT PROVIDE A REPLACEMENT FOR THIS PHONE SO WE WERE SOLD A PRODUCT THAT IS NOT ACCURATE. THEY DO NOT INSURE THIS PHONE. THEY WILL PROVIDE YOU A LOT OF OTHER VERSIONS, BUT!!!! THEY DO NOT INSURE OR REPLACE UNLOCKED PHONES. IF YOU GET INSURANCE THRU ASURION AND YOUR PHONE WAS AN UNLOCKED PHONE, YOU CAN NOT GET IT REPLACED UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO ACCEPT A LOCKED VERSION.
