had a protection plan for my pixel 7 pro bought on amazon, have been paying monthly (inlcigin 3 days prior o this issue), when my phone recently started having chargnbg problems, went to submit claim- entered order number (from amazon)- was told that this informatio was incorrect and thus couldnt progress with claim- emailed asurion ciustomer service- they told me that IS the oreder number- emailed them back tto say it was not ebing accepted and received no response (also their chat not available during busines hours on a weekday)- got my phone serviced by alocal repair shop out of pocket- cancelled this useless plan. will never buy from the in the future.
I purchased this thinking if my phone cracks it would cost $30 to fix. That is not the case. They are charging me $129 to give me a gift card to purchase a new phone from Amazon but Amazon Renewed sold me a defective phone so I don't want it. But for Amazon phones only they don't fix. MISLEADING>
I have had to complete the claim fom 6 different times, they had no record of the insurance after sending copies of the reciept and no one to talk with. No clear direction other than more info is needed! Worst plan I have ever purchased.
I bought a 2-year Accident Insurance Plan when I bought a Galaxy S9. 1 1/2 years later, my screen cracked. I just wanted to get the screen fixed. But instead, Asurion said they wanted the phone back, and they would refund the price of my phone. I paid $88 for the plan initially, and had to pay another $49 insurance deductible when I asked for the refund. Then getting paid by Asurion was like pulling teeth. It took a long time, 7 phone calls, and I was regularly passed along to different Asurion phone agents during the calls, often put on hold for many minutes. One call lasted nearly 45 minutes. I had to make 2 more calls after Asurion said I should have gotten my refund. I eventually got my money, but it was a long and tedious experience. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Had I not stayed on top of Asurion, calling then regularly to check the status of my refund, I feel that my claim might have just gotten tied up in their systems, awaiting my next follow-up call.
Amazon is absolutely no help even though they are the ones charging my card monthly. There is not information provided on how to cancel the "service" which has never covered anything and as I said I don't even have the device any longer. It's like they are charging me to breath.
