I've never used a soft screen protector before but I like the feel of this. It comes with instructions and a QR code to a YouTube video. The only difference between the instructions and what they give you is the piece of black foam used to lean your phone against so it's non slip. The video uses a piece of retrofitted white plastic that sticks in the charging port of the phone.

After applying, I still had some small bubbles but true to the product description, the bubbles went away after 24 hours! I'm very impressed. I don't think I'll have to replace my phone screen cover in a long time.

OK so I don't often give 5 star reviews, especially about mundane things like screen protectors.

Now since i just got a OnePlus 8, my options for accessories are limited. And for some reason I like protective film better than glass. That's just me. And usually i go for a Matt protector because even though it screws with the image a little, it tends not to pick up fingerprints. Well, as I mentioned before, I got a OnePlus 8 and I was SOL.

I had like 2 or 3 options for items that would come the next day and I arbitrarily chose this one. This is one of my best arbitrary decisions ever.

Yeah it's a good price but plenty of protectors are a good price and will do ok. But I have to say this is the best screen protector I have gotten. And I have gotten a lot.

Instructions were a little confusing, and i screwed it up a little. Even so, I still put it on, and my God, it doesn't even look like anything is there and as far as fingerprints go, which is my biggest pet peeves, barely even seen any until i lock my screen but when it's on I don't see it at all.

I redid the security finger print after putting the screen on and it works perfectly.

Even the sides on the curved edges of screen don't lift off.

If you like protective film or need something until u get the glass protector you wanted...get this one.

By the way, I have not received any incentive by the manufacturer to write such a good review. I really am just that happy with my new screen protector. I mean isn't it the small things in life that make us truly happy?

The concept for installing this screen protector seems really thought out. But really, I honestly thought I was just ordering some tpu screen protector like I used to get before it was all tempered glass craze going on, and so I didn't have any expectations. I simply thought, installing screen protectors is a pain in the ass, fine, I'll deal with it when the time comes.

The installation process is not even at all what I expected. I kinda looked at the instructions, the font is really small, so I kinda just looked at the pictures and I thought, ok, looks like a standard screen install, whatever... Let's do it.

The process starts off pretty basic, clean the screen, wet and dry wipes, then dust stickers. So I geometrically figured out from the camera hole which side will stick to the phone screen, and peeled it off. I stuck it on. Or looks very matte and the sides don't stick at all. So I peel off the top, and wow!! It looks amazing!!! Then I realize, wait a second, there's no screen protector, and it's off to the side where I put the peeled off top layer that comes with all screen protectors. So then, I realized, oh ok, the first one you peel off from the screen protector is just for alignment, you can potentially take it off and realign if it's not right. So okay, you get the alignment pretty good... Great! But then you have to lift it back up on each side to remove another layer (like a bandaid) from the screen protector... and then that's the real sticky portion of the screen protector.

So I tried a second time installing this when I learned after my first mistake... and then a third time trying to install it...... and it seems like, even though there's an alignment process, you really just have to get it right the first time, because once you lift it back up, it causes static electricity to catch the particles in the air and attract them to the screen of your phone. But even if you get the assignment process perfectly right the first time, you still have to lift each side up again to remove the actual sticky portion on the back of the screen protector (like, what does that even mean) and in the end, it's just a giant dust magnet which you can't avoid, and even the process of lifting each end to remove the alignment sticky layer, it makes the horizontal center of the screen have a line of bubbles, and they don't go away, because that line of the screen is now physically scratched or warped slightly... which just seems impossible to avoid, because you have to physically lift the screen and put pressure across that single line of the screen protector.

So, in summary, it feels like they took an already hard and complicated single step problem and multiply it across 3 just at hard steps, it's like those video games where your have to fight 7 boss battles and losing the fourth one results in having to fight them all again from the beginning, but you only get 3 lives doing it.

Anyway, The one plus 8 phone screen is already kinda weird, so I think I'm just not going to bother with a screen protector. But I miss the kind where, you simply attach the phone and screen protector with some stickers, quickly peel off the back, and it's good enough. Installing this screen protector, it was just too bubbly, I can't leave them on.

The screen is very thin, it feels like a second skin. The installation was extremely easy. The video provided does help but it's not necessary if you know what you're doing.

I think there was a mistake in the instruction at the very last part, where it tells you to "lift up the final screen" after you are done installing it (after the part where you actually peel off both halves to install the actual screen protector) but that might be because I did it out of order, hence perhaps I should've watched the video first lol.

Either way, very, VERY, satisfied with this product. It's so much better than the $30 one you get at T-Mobile. The screen feels very good afterwards, even a bit smoother than the regular screen. It's everything a screen protector needs to be.

Yes, as always, there's a few small teeny bubbles here and there, and that's unavoidable, but overall it looks very good and doesn't have any kind of weird shine or texture to it. Most importantly, it does not make the curve screen look ugly, but the screen protector itself looks more like a thin film vs. an actual plastic covering or sticker. 10/10
