I bought the warranty for a string trimmer. Six months after purchase the trimmer broke. When I contacted Asurion they said the product is still under manufacturer warranty, which is true and I should contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer warranty is 2 years, Asurion warranty is 2 years. So the Asurion warranty is useless. The Asurion 2-year warranty is a ripoff.
