I strongly advice the purchase of this protection. My wet/dry vacuum suddenly gave out. It started smoking. Needless to say I was out of a wet/dry vacuum. Thankfully I had purchased the asurion protection. Thank God I did. I quickly filed a claim and after answering a couple of questions I was approved and a gift card for Amazon to replace the item was emailed to me. It was so easy and stress less. I purchased another wet/dry vacuum and of course I purchased the asurion protection. I would have been out $300 if not for the added protection. Thank you asurion protection. Best value!

This is a review of the Asurion insurance - not the Roomba that it insured.
The Roomba malfunctioned after less than 2 months of use. If I had not purchased the insurance I would be stuck with a bad unit and no coverage even though it was under warranty due to the fact that I Robot advised that the seller on Amazon was unauthorized and therefore they would not service the unit.
They had an answer to the issue which they could resolve but they would not service it. The Asurion techs were unable to fix the problem and i was reimbursed for the purchase price - however not the tax or the cost of the insurance plan. A very bad experience with this purchase.

The online process to request a repair was easy to use via a chat. It took 2 days to "approve" the return and then they sent a prepaid UPS label. The botvac arrived to repair depot in 4 days. After a week, they determined it could not be repaired and then ASURION was quick to refund my purchase price to an Amazon gift card. The process worked well and I will buy Extended Protection on future items.

I was happy knowing that either way from the outcome, I would be satisfied. My product would either be fixed or I'd get my money back (:. I got a resolution very fast too. I am very satisfied with my experience with Asurion!

I had a warranty on a Roomba vacuum cleaner. I started having trouble with it in June 2023. I called assurian and they said to mail it to them. They said they found nothing wrong with it. The same problem happened again in July and August. I had to mail it back each time. Finally when it happened again the last week of January 2024 I asked to talk to a supervisor. He said he would look at the comments associated with my claim. I did not hear from him, and after 10 days I reached out to him in e-mail. He said he would present my claim to his manager. I finally got an answer that they would send me a credit for the product. I then got emails asking for pictures of the product. After a few more phone calls and a few more weeks, they finally put the credit on my Amazon acct. This claim took me 10 months of phone calls and emails.
