I like that I can listen to music on the tv. I like a lot about it. I can turn it on with the remote from another room. It’s the biggest screen I have had to watch a movie on in…. Ever? Haha, to be fair I’ve been living very small since the divorce but even the marital tv was not big. I don’t feel I can fairly judge picture quality because of my limited television experience. But I have an iMac. And if I could have afforded a new iMac I wouldn’t have bought this tv. But being that I couldn’t afford a new iMac I am happy that I treated myself to this tv. And also very happy Amazon had an option to pay over time no credit check, no interest. Now if only Apple would do the same with iMacs.

I've had no issues with it connecting to wifi and it works flawlessly. Set up was simple. The wall mount (I purchased a simple $20 universal mount here on Amazon) was the hardest part. This review is for a TV that cost me $100. This is a great TV for the cost and would make a great TV for the kids room or as a 2nd TV for a bedroom, which is how I use it.

This TV is very bright. I actually turned down the brightness by 10% because when I'm in bed in the dark it was a strain on my eyes. The colors aren't as rich and vibrant as on my main TV, but for the cost the picture looks very good.

I expected the sound to be reminiscent of an old AM radio. I was surprised at the full range of sound. Obviously the bass won't make the walls shake and if you're listening to music through the TV the highs will be muffled, but for regular TV/Movie watching the TV sounds really good. I haven't cranked up the volume so I can't comment about distortion on louder levels.

The only thing that I notice that reminds me that this is a low cost TV is the speed. Scrolling across the apps does have a slight delay. I have 13 TV/Movie apps installed in addition to several apps that come preinstalled. When you turn off this TV it basically just turns off the monitor. The longer I go between actually restarting the TV the worse the delay gets. Restarting the TV eliminates the delay for a few days.

If you're looking for a high end TV with incredible picture and sound, this TV is not for you. Of course, if you're looking for a high end TV you should know you will need to spend a lot more then $100. If you're looking for a small TV for the kids room or as a TV for the bedroom, this is a great TV.

I hardly ever write a review, but some of the bad reviews are not accurate.

I got the 40" version on sale for $159.99, and boy what a bargain!! It's for my bedroom, so it's not my primary TV.

First off, there are many, many TVs that are better, but none at this price point. If you want a superb TV, and are willing to pay for it, get a Sony Brava.

This TV is primarily for streaming, so make sure you have good and fast internet service. If your internet is slow, the TV will be slow too!

The first time you plug this in expect to sit through software updates. Then you'll have to download all the service apps like Netflix, YouTubeTV, Max, Disney, etc. Each one may take 5 to 10 mins to download. So be patient. Once everything is loaded and you've logged in to each app, the performance is excellent.

Picture is great. Amazon's interface is okay, not as good as Google, but does the job.

The remote is cool, I'll probably never use Alexa much.

I have an LG soundbar that is connected to the optical port. I am able to control the volume on the soundbar using the remote.

I highly recommend this for what it is. A secondary TV in the house for a bedroom or kids room, or den. It's a great low priced TV. It is not a high end TV.

While this is a very low-end budget TV it's surprisingly feature rich with only a few glaringly flaws.

First for a 720p TV the picture quality is not that bad. It's somewhat sharp (it's 720p so it's not going to be too sharp) and can be somewhat vivid if you prefer. There are multiple color profiles you can choose from which are all adequate for their intended purpose. The viewing angles are also very, very impressive for such a cheap TV. There is hardly any distortion even at a 90 degree viewing angel.

Second the speakers are surprisingly good for a budget TV of any brand. I was pleasantly surprised at how they are hardly tinny at all and even have some bass without diminishing the treble like a lot of cheap integrated TV speakers tend to do. They are also pretty loud for being only 8 watts each.

Third it's nice to have basically a Fire stick integrated into the TV along with being a traditional TV. The problem is that the processor they use for the smart function is severely underpowered (I believe it's a quad core Arm A-53). Because of this the "smart" interface and general responsiveness can be very laggy at times (They have to cut corners somewhere for the $120 price tag.).

Overall for the price I am extremely happy with this TV. Not to mention you can purchase this with Amazon's interest-free in-house financing plan. I lucked out and stumbled on a rare 12 month financing plan so I am literally paying $10 a month for this. Even if I didn't need a new bedroom TV I would have bought it with those terms.
