My birds love these snacks.But beware of what may be packed inside.A few scoops in and I found this wire.I understand that things happen in the packing process but this was scary. Had I not found it, it could have hurt my birds.Be sure to keep an eye on what’s buried in the meal worms

Some vendors really jacked up the price on mealworms after the pandemic, and they are really helpful to attract nesting Bluebirds who do not eat birdseed. Now we are set for another Summer season.

Last time I accidentally purchased BSFL which were okay; the birds adjusted and accepted after a minute, but I think these are more popular, and smaller, for the feathered babies.

Update June 2024: My wild birds really really love these. After accidentally purchasing soldier fly larvae previously, which they begrudgingly ate, the difference when I switched to this product was noticeable, as in I've already had to replace that huge box because all the fledgelings (and parents) have loved them, not just the Bluebirds. I will probably start cutting back now that nesting is about done so I will have plenty on hand for this Winter when the bug eaters have a harder time finding food cause they sure have been popular.

You really can't beat the pricing for the quantity you get. I have 4 year old, 3 year old and 4 month old chickens and every single one of them went for these the very first time they were given. So these definitely work, vs some organic domestic ones I purchased previously which took a few days before the younger chicks showed interest.

These DO come from China, so there is some concern over quality control. But so far, so good so this is getting a 5 star review and recommendation until I see any other reason it shouldn't. Thank you
