*Updated with sleep review!*TL;DR if you're looking for something that will fit well, comes with minimal muss/ fuss, connects easily, has good sound, is waterproof-these are for you!However, If you're looking for something for sleep avoid these at all costs!Full review below 👇🏻6/19/24 I got these because I have sleep anxiety, and ASMR or music help a lot. Sleeping with headphones can be painful, esp if you use them all day, too . I wouldn't call myself an audio file, because that would imply I understand what all the numbers mean and how you should use them. I just go by my own personal experience. Since I listen to a number of things on my headphones, and I feel so using headphones to speakers or other methods, I tend to collect them. Because of ADHD I tend to lose or destroy them, so I was looking for something that would not hurt when I was sleeping, have decent enough sound that it wouldn't be awful, just something to get the job done for sleep. I have on wireless headphones, the on true wireless earbuds, Tangry Tru wireless buds, and Skull Candy Cassette, at the moment. I've listened to bose, I've had a sony's, etc. But what if you just need headphones that work well, and you don't want to spend $200? That was the mission.I just received them a few hours ago. I'm going to give my immediate first impressions here. Then I'm going to use them overnight, and I will update.Fit- Not bad, they probably won't fall out during exercise, but for sleeping they don't thrill me🫤Mine did not come with extra earbuds, so the tips that it came with are my choice unless I want to go hunt some down. I'm a female with small ears, so I can already tell you I'm going to have to do that.Pain-again, not super happy. I bought these based off reviews that they were good for this specific thing, but not many people are actually putting reviews for sleeping. (Part of why I wanted to do this)I placed my head, not even lying down, against the back of my couch and there was pain. If I wiggle them around and basically put them in upside down, if you doable. Again, haven't slept the night with these, so I'll let you know what works.Sound- super happy! It comes with an app with presets, and you can customize it if you know what you're doing. I don't, and so I'm just going to pick whatever works best for me at the time. Both my phone and the headphones have equalizers, I'm sure I'll make something work. (Otherwise, maybe I should take an AV class🤔)Again, these were bought for sleep and it be great if they work for other things! The base was busy enough everything sounded okay. These would certainly be fine for the average person running around and doing their day-to-day stuff. They sound better than the beach I bought several years ago, though I've heard those are better, now.I can tell you that the true wireless earbuds from on, which are around 20 to 30 bucks at walmart, and pair easily and come with different tips? They're probably more comfortable than these. Not a significant price difference either. And Walmart has sales! If I end up not liking me, and right now, I'm not sure I will, I may simply return them for those. My last pair got lost, so I wanted to try something new. I'm not paying $200 for sleep headphones, so I'll let you know tomorrow what I really think.**6/20/24 sleep review**Yeah, these ain't it! These are fantastic for day to day. Don't get me wrong, I'm going to have a hard time sending these back because I like them. However, when it came to sleeping, they didn't perform. Let's start with fit. My left ear is a little bit smaller than my right. And that made the experience painful. They don't come with extra tips, so you're stuck with what you get in the box. And that worked okay for my right ear, but not at all for the left. And, on my left side sleeper so these didn't work well. The controls are sensitive enough that laying on your side will mess with them. All in all, great for the day not great for sleep. On to the next!
