    Product stated that it was compatible with my printer, but it was not. I have a new Brother MFC-L8900CDW. I bought 2 sets from this seller, and lost $137.76. The colors bled across my document. I tried one new Cyan, then tried the 2nd Cyan. The same with the Magenta. I went to my local office supply store, and purchased the "Brother Printer" band, and now my documents are printing correctly. So it was definitely the fault of the poor quality of these cartridges. I am two weeks past the eligible date for returning, and therefore cannot obtain a refund as well. There is no way to contact the company either. The product company name is "GOTOBY", made in CHINA. My fault for buying from them.

    This toner is listed as "compatible" with many Brother printers including the MFC-L8900 series. This was not my experience. Although the toner cartridges did properly install into the slots designed for them, the print quality they produced was horrible. The colors did not match previous prints of the same files. Blue text was printed with a red shadow to the letters. Many pages were streaked or spotted. Images had lines of color differentiation where there should be none.

    At first (because I had not been the one to change the cartridges) I did not suspect that the toner was the problem. I did extensive troubleshooting, including cleaning every recommended surface with alcohol, replacing my nearly brand-new drum unit, changing paper, uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, calibrating, resetting, and even more ridiculous things like running a humidifier to increase the relative humidity in the room.

    Then my husband told me that he had had to replace the toner while I was at work and that was probably the issue. I went out and purchased new toner; sure enough, all the problems disappeared.

    For cheap printing, particularly if you don't care about consistency between prints or high image quality, this is a great bargain. But if you, like me, bought your laser printer for its quality, due yourself a favor and buy quality toner.

    If you aren't concerned about color matching and saturation then this is a good, cheaper option for you. Colors came out completely different then our last set of toner (original brother) and saturation was grainy. I didn't expect professional print shop quality, but we can't give our clients the paperwork we tried to print with this toner.
