A must buy. These come with an installation guide that is a game changer. You snap on the guide, drop in the glass, and it installs perfectly centered with no bubbles. I previously had a flexible screen protector, like thick Saran wrap, but when I dropped my phone the screen still got huge cracks. These glass protectors installed right over the cracked screen and I can now barely see the cracks underneath, saving me the $200 cost of a replacement screen. I'm glad it's a two pack because I dropped my phone 2 days after the first install. The glass screen protector cracked but the phone screen underneath didn't get any worse. I installed the back up protector and so far everything is great. I'll buy these for every phone I get from now on, even for the tough phone I plan to get.

** see original 5 star review below. After having this on my phone for a couple of days I can see that screen sensitivity is greatly effected. I have been so frustrated because it takes a strong touch so I am constantly having to correct my text entry and when I am trying to open an app or click on something it is frustrating to sometimes click 3 or 4 times. Another big issue is the smudges on the screen are crazy bad to the point that I can't see the screen when I'm using GPS because of the glare. This may sound like I just need to wash my hands or my screen (I actually am constantly sanitizing my hands) but this wasn't a problem with the original glass phone screen before I put the screen protector on....

****second update: the screen protector has cracked many times since purchased - I had planned to take it off because of the screen sensitivity issue and the glare but having gotten around to finding a replacement and I thought I should add to this review as I've only had it on for about 3 months and there are a multitude of hairline cracks and I am not even careless or drop my phone often.....

I am so darn impressed by this screen protector. I had ordered one a while back but I kept putting off installing it until literally I dropped my phone and broke the screen. After I got the screen replaced I rushed home to put the screen protector on but I had ordered the wrong size. It was way past the return window so I just sucked it up since it was my error. I was impressed by the product and instructions so I ordered the correct size his time and it was even better because they added a foolproof plastic guide... can't say enough about how much I recommend. Of course I will update my review if I run into issues but seems like an awesome product so far. I do notice that my touchscreen is slightly less sensitive but hopefully I'll adapt.

So after several months (since early Sept. 2021) of use I can state with confidence that this screen protector is marginal at best. It did a fine job at protecting the screen as I am now on the 2nd one after a mishap. Now for the reality check...

The touch sensitivity is poor or wonky because the main body of the screen protector never has direct or full contact with the screen. It literally floats or hovers over the screen. This is also the cause of the screen glare. The slight gap between the screen and the protector causes the glare. The wonky touch sensitivity is due to the same gap. I have a friend with a Samsung S8. Same curved screen but uses a film style screen protector. Flawless touch response and no glare. These people that can't or don't notice the issues with this screen protector must have pretty low standards.... I have a Yugo for sale... 😆

I've purchased this brand for other phones, past and present, and continued to for what should be obvious reasons. However, This particular cover for the S9 appears to be different in looks and performance.

First, the install. No problems at all. Shut off the HVAC to minimize dust movement, wiped the screen down with a low pile cotton dish towel, then wiped the screen lightly with the provided alcohol swab, then buffed with provided dust cloth paying attention to edges of the screen. Using the provided guide, the screen protector went on smooth and perfect. Used the provided dust cloth to apply pressure and press to ensure proper adhesion. No sweat. If done properly the screen protector really holds tight. I accidentally caught the edge of it as I was putting on a snug fitting Spigen case. It never budged or lifted. Nice.

Here's where the disappointment comes in. And I'm not talking about the touch sensitivity of the screen. That fix has been covered by a multitude of commentors. The first thing I immediately noticed was the overt glare caused by this screen protector. It's obvious and pretty bad. This could prove to be the dealbreaker. The other issue is the amount of finger prints this particular screen protector collects... a lot. Like I said earlier I've purchased this brand for other phones and haven't experienced either issue before. Perhaps a change in manufacturing vendor? All I know is that going forward I'll be checking out other brands. In a word, disappointed. Thanks for reading.
