You've provided a comprehensive review! Here's a refined version:---Pant shopping is my least favorite activity, especially as I've put on more weight. However, these capris were a pleasant surprise.**Pros:**- Soft- Comfortable- Lightweight**Cons:**- Semi-flattering- High waist- Too longAt 5' 3", these capris make me feel like I'm wearing high waters instead of capris. I need an XL to fit my waist size, and while these drawstring pants are fairly comfortable, I dislike the feeling of pants on my midsection. Unfortunately, high-waist pants are in style, but I choose to wear them slightly lower, which affects their flattering look on me (see pictures provided).Despite not being my ideal pants, they come closer than any others I've tried recently. I've even bought them in multiple colors for my upcoming summer travels. With a long shirt, my concerns about these pants are alleviated.Overall, while these capris aren't perfect for me, they're the closest I've found recently. Although I still struggle with the texture and feel of clothes, especially around my midsection, these capris have somewhat alleviated my concerns. That's high praise coming from a picky, highly sensitive clothes shopper like me.

I am thigh and bottom heavy, so, when I read someone suggesting to size down, I wasn't sure I needed to. So, I checked the size chart. It showed up to size 2x the hip size was 42.5-44.5, I am a 50 size hip (embarrassing to say) the waist size for a 2x is 35.5-37.5 and I am a 41 waist, so I ordered the 3X. I can't say enough how great these fit, the wider, soft waist band is so comfy and doesn't ride down. The seat fit my bottom perfectly, it does not stick to my butt lol. The pant legs are also a perfect amount of material, with a nice small not bulky pocket, love this feature. These are my fav pant now, they are very nice and light weight and very well made! They fit the butt, legs and crotch just right. I love the ties at the shin area, it adds a cute feminine touch. I ordered 3, Navy blue, Black and Army green all are beautiful colors with a bit of a shine to them. Im normally a 2 or 3X with a 41 in. Waist, 50 in. Hip 235 lbs. Love Love Love These pants! And finally feel good in something.

I have purchased several different colors of the pants. The small fits me very well and they are very comfortable. The colors are very nice and I enjoy wearing them! My only complaint is that the shipping bag they are shipped in is entirely too small. I know that they are trying to save a few dollars but because of the small bag and the way they are folded, the wrinkles are impossible to get out! It's like the wrinkles are set in for a lifetime which is very irritating! I would be willing to pay a dollar and two more if the shipper could ship these nice pants in an adequate bag or maybe a fitting box! They really need to solve this problem. I have seen other reviews stating the same! Please come up with a better way of shipping!
This is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. The pants themselves deserve 5!

I just got these this morning and they fit great! Amazon wanted me to buy an XL but I got a L. I’m 5” 2” and 176lbs. There is plenty of leg and butt room. Lots of stretch room in the waist! I probably could have gone with a M if I wanted them to be a closer fit. They’re lightweight and comfortable. A little smell out of the pkg so they need to be washed before wearing. Will buy again.
