How to use:

Clean and dry the scar area. Gently massage a small amount of scar gel for 3-5 minutes for good absorption, 2-3 times per day.

Recommendation:
Apply every 3-4 hours daily, before and after going to bed.

When to start using：

It is best used immediately after the wound is healed, because the scar tissue begins to proliferate one month after the wound heals,
reaching a peak in 3-6 months, and a mature scar is formed in about one year. The sooner the scar gel is used, the more active it is.
The silicone gel softens and inhibits scar hyperplasia. The more mature the scar, the longer the softening process, and the longer the treatment cycle.
Prevention of scar hyperplasia is generally considered to be more effective than treatment, and the economic burden on patients is also smaller.

UPDATE..aftet a few uses the pump top lid stopped working and there is no possible way to get the cream out of the jar with it broken. The jar is still almost full so it was not a great value at all when I am unable to use it and most of the product is held hostage in the jar. Hopefully the seller will see this and replace it ...........,
I can't tell if it helps.my scare from knee replacement but I can tell you it is luxurious cream. It really is a nice product and time will tell if it does what it is supposed to but I do like using it because it's so nice and moisturizing.

I have a big scar from breaking my arm some 35 years ago...I'm not foolish enough to think this will help with that but I have been using it on my stretch marks on my belly from 2 pregnancies and spot scars from old pimples and mosquito bites. They do seem to be fading away...not totally, but still noticeable so continued use is a must. I'm not a fan of this type of pump system in this small jar. I suppose it's good in theory because it prevents contamination of the product, but that can easily be done in a squeeze tube. This pump jar makes it impossible to use up all the product as it empties out and I'm the type who will cut open her toothpaste container to get every last ounce...waste not want not. At any rate, the price isn't astronomical so at $12 for the jar, and depending on how much of the product you use daily, I plan to stretch this out to at least 45 days if not more, making the price more reasonable.
