Eins vorweg:
Wir sprechen hier über ein Smartphone der unter-150€ Kategorie und die Aussagen mancher Rezensenten dieses Gerät könne "locker" mit höherpreisigen Modellen mithalten, ist Absolut falsch.
Hier haben wir ein Gerät welches gedacht ist fürs Telefonieren, Navigation, Messaging und allgemeine Internet Aufgaben sowie Emails. Einfachste Spiele gehen natürlich auch noch klar.
Das Herzstück ist ein Mediatek Helio G99 Prozessor, der bereits am 24.08.2022 vorgestellt wurde und heute schon fast 2 Jahre alt ist. Bei seiner Vorstellung war er ein Soc der oberen Mittelklasse, heute bestenfalls noch Einstiegsklasse für das neue Android 14 und Samsungs Oberfläche OneUI 6,1.
Dazu hat der Prozessor noch stark mit den wenigen 4 GB Ram zu kämpfen die Samsung ihm zur Seite gestellt hat.
Das merkt man auch oft beim Öffnen von Apps oder den Gedenksekunden die sich das System an allen Ecken und Enden gönnen muss. Das liegt, meines Erachtens, auch an dem Topmodernen Android 14 und der aktuellen OneUI 6,1. Hier ist das System einfach schon am Limit und lässt keinen Spielraum mehr für aufwändigere Spiele oder Rechenintensiven Aufgaben.
Die verbauten Kameras sind ebenfalls längst nicht mehr auf Höhe der Zeit wenn man einmal die Resultate von höherpreisigeren Modelle gesehen hat, sogar Schnappschüsse bei bestem Licht werden viele Nutzer wahrscheinlich erschrecken.
Der einzelne Monolautsprecher klingt auch nicht mehr aus der heutigen Zeit, Videostreams und jegliche Soundeffekte gehen trotzdem noch klar, für mehr bieten sich Earpods an oder man kann sogar Kabel Gebunde Kopfhörer verwenden weil es auch noch einen 3,5 mm Klinkenanschluss gibt.
Dafür ist das Gerät aber auch gar nicht gedacht, wie der Preis auch offen und ehrlich kommuniziert.
Warum aber dann trotzdem 5 Sterne?
Weil man, für diesen sehr günstigen Preis, ein ausgereiftes Gerät eines großen Herstellers bekommt, der auch noch 3 Jahre Updates verspricht,
man ein Tadellos verarbeitetes Gerät bekommt mit einem großen und Langanhaltenden Akku und NFC Funktion sowie Samsungs üblichem Schnellladen mit 25Watt über USB-C.
Das Gehäuse ist trotz des Kunststoffes sehr hochwertig und sieht und fühlt sich auch so hochwertig an. Das konnte Samsung in der Vergangenheit nicht immer so gut.
Das Beste ist jedoch dass es tatsächlich ein SuperAMOLED Display mit fast 400 PPI gibt was natürlich jeden Mitbewerber in dieser Preiskategorie, problemlos hinter sich lässt.
Das Display war letztendlich auch der ausschlaggebende Punkt für mich da ich das Gerät nur als Dashboard und Navi fürs Zweirad benutze.
Wenn ich mir also die Vor- und Nachteile unter dem Gesichtspunkt des günstigen Preises vor Augen führe, komme ich an einer Kaufempfehlung einfach nicht vorbei.
Jeder sollte aber genau abwägen für was das Gerät bestimmt ist und inwiefern es den eigenen, zu Erwartenden, Ansprüchen genügen kann. Damit sollte auch ein Fehlkauf ausgeschlossen sein.
Viele User sind extrem Enttäuscht über die Leistung und die Grenzen, lassen aber außer Acht dass sie kein Fold- oder S-Modell von Samsung erworben haben.
Daran ist nicht Samsung schuld.
