    Here's the thing -- I've been using a Pixel 4a and wanted a larger Android phone. I've used Samsung before and found a great deal on the S20 Plus so I tried it and I'm returning it after 5 days.
    Here's what I found:
    - Samsung has created a clunky, unintuitive UI that makes even basic functions complicated. I understand why people switch to Apple, which isn't any simpler, but seems to be.
    - Samsung keeps pushing their cloud and their integration, trying to force users into creating a Samsung account. Getting the phone to work well without that is almost impossible.
    - The phone is glitchy -- sometimes I can choose a WiFi network, sometimes I can't. I thought I changed the notification sound, but the old one still comes on, even when no notifications are visible. Huh?!?
    - The power button is below the volume button, which is awkward. I keep turning off the screen while trying to turn down the volume. In fact, I find myself turning the volume up and down several times a day (there doesn't seem to be a universal control for notification sounds but again, it might exist somewhere)
    - The fingerprint reader is finicky
    - The menu controls must have been written in Korean and translated, because they make no sense in English. Furthermore, personalization is limited.
    - The battery lasts 12 hours on a good day, and that's without using the 120Hz screen refresh. Luckily, the screen still looks good at 60Hz.

    Bottom line: this phone is a $1200 disappointment. The Pixel phones are such intuitive devices that it's very hard to use anything dumbed down like a Samsung. I'd say save yourself the extra $500 and buy a Pixel instead -- the user experience is fluid and everything "just works".
