    My first time with a Roku streaming device. I have previously used an Amazon Firestick(and still do). I really like the menu display on the Roku. It is much larger and more well organized. In addition the “live tv” listings on what they call “The Roku Channel”, they have more free trials of other streaming services than the FireStick. Also I am greatly relieved at not having to look at as many ads and promotions as are present on the other device. The bad news is that the Roku is definitely slower in switching between apps and loading new apps (the initial setup is slower too). But if you can live with that, then the pluses of this device outweigh the minuses.
