Great product, just needs a little more love!
Overall, this is a great product. Has an extremely simple set up through the Ring app. My doors are a little goofy, so getting them to register took some precision. I ultimately had to purchase a $10 riser to ensure the sensor worked properly. If there was anything I could change on these sensors, it would be having a chargeable option, extra sticky backs, and 1/4 to 1/2 inch more of sensor reading.

Knowing when doors or windows open is a game-changer, especially for the forgetful types like me. The con? Batteries. Purchased these after Google screws me over with there Nest Secure device. Was looking for something comparable with self monitoring.

Overall these work fine and easy to install. Directions were easy to follow and adhesive works well (make sure to clean the spot you’re applying it to with alcohol). The only con I have is I wished it had a light where when you walk by it gives you a path light (the google sensor did this).

 If you are like me that rent or move often, please DO NOT remove the double face tape & use the screws that come in the box. I made the mistake in one window on my previous home, but was extremely easy to remove, in the new place I removed the old tape with a small spoon & used the screws. I bought my alarm system that came with 4 of these and needed 4 more, so I bought 2 sets. This was 2 yrs ago and the batteries still work like new. If you leave them behind in the previous home you'll be wasting money plus you need to deregister them from your account as they don't work with other alarms, well last time I checked. Now there is even spacers sold here in case that there is a gap of more than 1" (remember, the sensor will not work if placed more than 1" apart)

*Note* for the customer that was inquiring about the approval (sorry I forgot the number) I am attaching the scanned pic of the description paper that comes in the box & a few other pictures.
