This is a nice treat to have on hand for your dog. The value is worth it. It's not like I give it to her everyday we call it her "nice treat." That's when she knows she's getting something special. She's gotten pretty good at eating these doesn't take her long at all. She digest them well and has no issues. No bowel issues either so there is no diarrhea or anything to worry about with her she's a cockapoo 18 months old. There's no Rawhide which is the reason I bought them. There's three pieces of bacon wrapped around them and they come in a resealable bag which is a bonus. They're definitely not hard or too hard to chew, but they're not soft. It's a good chew treat for my dog. I personally can't tell you about the taste, myself but I can tell you that my dog loves them. I have them on subscribe and Save so that's always helpful and she looks forward to getting them.

Bought these treats on recommendation from a neighbor. I was pet sitting my friends’ elderly dog (big black-lab mix) while they were out of town. Very elderly. He wasn’t eating a lot so kept trying everything to stimulate his appetite. These were by far his very FAVORITE treat even though his owner had told me he didn’t really like chewy things in his old age (and he has had problems with his teeth). But he just wanted more and more. Obviously I was careful cause they are treats and not meant as full meals but they made the sweet old boy super happy. If you have similar dog/situation I say try it!! The sweet potato is real good for their digestion and he enjoyed chomping on them a bit and never tried swallowing them whole. They are a hard but chewy consistency.

Reasonably priced (as dog treats go) and appear to be good quality. Could be a choking issue as they require a bit of work to break down so be sure to keep the pieces smaller to be on the safe side.

It looks and smells like the product claims, it's just chicken. My dog loves it. Unfortunately, my dog doesn't chew it up very well and I'm a little fearful that if I leave the pieces long that she might cut her esophagus on the way down. It is pretty stiff and unrelenting. I will see how it goes as she makes her way through this bag. If there are no negative incidences (none so far) I would probably buy it again. It's always a pleasure to find products that don't have a mile-long list of ingredients you can't pronounce! My dog has allergies and chicken seems to agree with her, so it was nice to find a stiff chew like this that is just chicken.

This stuff makes my dog go crazy when she hears the package crinkling as I open it. This meat looks so good, I was tempted to use it for my own food on a camping trip! Light weight dehydrated meat! BUT, it does not say recommended for human consumption…

BE CAREFUL! You really should cut this into small pieces before giving to your dog. It’s so good to them that they will scarf it and choke!! Seriously, cut it into small pieces! Love your dog, don’t choke them.
