I had a bad experience with the original Moto razr. It was a Verizon locked phone and I couldn't activate a plan on it. I even went to the Verizon store and they couldn't activate it either. It was a $200 mistake.
This one was also sim locked but to at&t. I used a USB C to C cable and loaded all my data from my old phone to the new one. It even transferred my sim info to the new razrplus. Set up, actually usable for making phone calls and I've been in love ever since. I'm not going to make like the battery life is something amazing, it's not. But it has enough power to last me all day long and if I'm on my phone all day it won't make it, but that's what my power bank is for.
