I have a bunch of chickens, but 3 of them started loosing their feathers and looking sickly. One of my dear friends suggested I grab oyster shells and give it to them as treats. I tried that and none of them seemed to want to it it. I then decided to mix it in with their food and now they gobble it down. One of the three already looks back to normal and the other two have fresh feathers growing all over, so it is starting to work. Love it and it is not expensive at all either. Highly recommend.

This is a must have if you raise chickens. I noticed a few of my girls were laying eggs with thinner shells (not soft, just more fragile) so I gave them the oyster shell and noticed their egg shells were thicker and more durable.
My girls won’t just eat the oyster shell alone so I like to mix it with other scratch so they get what they need without even realizing it.

I didn't read the discription properly. I thought they were crushed oyster shells, they are oyster pellets. Which are massive, even for a chicken, they are rock hard. I tried to crush them with my granite pestel and mortar lol they wouldn't crush.
