Pen easily dislodges - but PLEASE READ ALL!

Did not like that the pen was very insecure. Nothing really wrong with the structure, etc., but the pen would very easily come loose and would be lost. Because of this I returned the case.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: After returning the above referenced case for my Galaxy Tab, I was contacted by a representative of Ztotop who provided several options to rectify the situation. The agent suggested a different case made by his company that might better suit my needs and address the issue I had with the original case. Seven days later a new and different case was delivered to my door FREE of charge. This new case solved the problem and I am very satisfied with it. However, I am particularly impressed with the customer service experience with the Ztotop representative and I want to be on record for documenting this experience. It was a $25 case, but I received a $1000 customer service response. In light of this I would not hesitate to recommend their product line.

It works well and I have no complaints or problems with it, except as other reviews have pointed out the magnets create deadzones when writing with the pen. Usually isn't noticeable unless you're handwriting stuff like I was. Otherwise a perfect case.

Smaller than 12.4", Weak Magnets

I was having trouble trying to find a simple stand cover for my Lume Pad 2 and this was the closest thng I can find.

This was meant for a 12.4" tablet but the top poked through by a few mm.
The magnets on it were non existant as well. I used velcro with adhesive back to attach it and it seems to work well.

It is what it is but I managed to get it to serve the purpose I wanted, being cheap I didn't feel bad having to alter it.

Not enough magnets to secure the tablet

I ordered this from Amazon, arrived very quickly, packaged really good. Design and craftsmanship is really good. However it does not enough magnets to securely keep the tablet attached. The center piece helps you to angle your tablet for different positions completely ruins this otherwise excellent tablet case. Magnet arrays are basically around this hard plastic like stand device, which renders the magnets weak. My brand new tab S8 plus had already several close call while testing this case. Also pen holder at the middle makes the bottom part unnecessarily wide, at it becomes really hard to hold for reading and securely holding the device. Based on weak magnets and wide bottom part I do not recommend this magnetic case.

The case works great, and it feels and looks good. I only have two complaints. 1. the magnets that hold the S-pen inside the cover (inside the spine) are quite weak, with the case closed you'll never lose the pen but sometimes I flip it open with no intention of using the pen and then there is a risk of it falling off easily. 2. I was hoping that since this case did not contain a keyboard that it would be slightly thinner than the keyboard case I got with the tablet. It is thinner one one side, but the spine is the same thickness so unfortunately I wasn't able to shave millimeters off of the thickness.

Ganz einfache Entscheidung: Original kostet doppelt so viel und kann das gleiche nur mit besserer Haptik und dicker. Dieses Cover-Design ist sehr gelungen. Es sieht aus wie ein Leder Notizbuch und die Ränder des Tablets sind sichtbar was sehr gut aussieht. Das Tablet wird nicht eingeklemmt sondern magnetisch befestigt und kann auch ohne Hülle in die Hand genommen werden und wieder eingelegt werden das klappt sehr gut. Dazu ist es, wenn es auf dem Tisch liegt, nicht erhöht und so kann man angenehm mit dem Stift schreiben.

Man sollte das Tablet in dieser Hülle aber nicht lose in den Rucksack werfen dafür ist es nicht robust genug. Vor Stürzen schützt diese Hülle ebenfalls nicht denn die Ränder sind offen und nur magnetische Befestigung heißt bei einem Sturz liegen Tablet und Hülle getrennt nebeneinander.
