I purchased this to replace a Logitech keyboard and mouse combo that started to give me issues.This works adequately. It has most of the features that I was looking for. I wouldn't say that it is really ergonomic. There is no graduated bottom to rest my hands on which would be much more comfortable. And the mouse is pretty small and not as comfortable as I would like, but they are functional.I don't do any gaming, so I did not rate it for that. I also don't use sleep mode, but I just turn it off when I am not using it, so I did not rate that either.Overall, it is not my favorite wireless keyboard and mouse combo, but they work. When it wears out, I will look for better quality next time.

This MK270 Keyboard and Mouse ensemble is an outstanding buy and works very well! I have used this set up for over 7 years with another computer and NEVER have had any kind of problem what-so-ever! The keyboard action is crisp and solid and there is no lag when typing anything into your computer. The mouse is also a great unit. The mouse is actually known as a "mini-mouse" in its standalone form, so it should fit a women's, child's and man's hand easily (if you are a large person the mouse may be a little small for you).
Battery life is also excellent. The batteries will last in terms of years, not weeks in normal use. Additionally, the range of the keyboard and mouse is exceptional. You can be many feet away from your computer and the keyboard and mouse will be easily received by your computer.
Be sure not to drop the keyboard or mouse! They are both made of light gage plastic and will not do well in a fall to a hard surface. Also, the dongle that connects the mouse to your computer USB port IS IN THE TOP/WINGS OF THE BOX!!!!!! It is not stored in the mouse. If you want to store the dongle in the mouse at a later date, you can do this because there is a storage area inside the mouse for this purpose.
This system is easy to install and use. You will be very happy with it once you begin using it--I know you will. I have used this same system for the past 7 years! BUY IT; you will be glad you did.

Would NOT rate this keyboard as having any tactile keyboard (in the sense of a gaming/speed typing/performance keybaord). Very soft keys (see typo in previous sentence)- no feedback between when key pressed and registered. I just smash it all the way down to make sure it registers.

However, it is my favorite layout keyboard / mouse combo. I can't stand keyboards without the number pad, or where the number pad is visually grouped/lumped together with the letters and enter key, or keyboards where the keys have a low profile... so , having said all of that ... this is a decent keyboard if you can get use to soft keys.

Love this keyboard. I prefer it over more expensive keyboards. The mouse is light and small and easy to move around. The batteries last for months and months.

However, initially I experienced lag and delays. It would take sometimes a few seconds for my keystrokes to be recognized, which was frustrating. It turns out, this keyboard dongle does not work well with USB 3.0 ports. I used a USB 2.0 port on the back of my computer and it worked much better. But then the direct line of sight between the dongle was obstructed. Then I purchased a cheap USB 2.0 extension cable to ensure the dongle was in line of sight of the keyboard. This solved all my issues. It even worked when the USB 2.0 cable was plugged into a USB 3.0 usb port.

Anyway, hope this helps someone. All around love the keyboard.
