After reading the reviews I was a little nervous about the order but I went off of the picture that shows the measurements of the rocks. The Big ones were a lot bigger than I expected. Even the medium ones were bigger than I expected. The little ones are the ones I loved the most for pocket rocks. They are small and probably not great for younger children who are just doing a fun activity. But if you want to paint small inconspicuous rocks that you can easily and subtly place about, the small ones are perfect. They were packaged nicely and very few were broken or chipped. I will buy them again.

I was disappointed as I thought I was getting all big rocks then I realized it was a bag of mixed rocks but it is full of mostly small rocks that are far too small for painting. So you are not really getting that many rocks to paint with . I did not open it until the day of the art therapy lesson with my group of kids and we didn’t have enough rocks so had to go find some outside and they weren’t smooth or easy to paint etc. So that was a bummer…
