These not only look great, but they just work. I have never had even the slightest fear of them not provided adequate heat protection, I can hold even the hottest kitchenware (my dutch oven or cast iron) w/o concern. Plenty of length keeping me safe from accidental careless mistakes.

Super comfortable, not like those old yellow/blue rubber gloves! These are a very gentle silicone which honestly feels great!

go ahead and gift these to someone. if they don't truly appreciate the gloves, march over to their house and take them back. let them burn their hands with lowly cloth oven mitts.

After 20+ years of yeoman's duties, I had to replace my silicon oven mitts. Most I saw had far too much cloth at the wrist and were too short. For taking my dutch ovens out I would have charred/destroyed them in a week.

These are long and in two uses have been very comfortable to use. There is a small band of cloth but it's far enough up my forearm that It isn't part of the mitt.
