    My previous case was thinner and had a large rectangular hole for the headphone jack, which worked great. This one has a hole only about 1/4 inch in diameter, which does not work with my usual headphones.I'm unsure whether I want to return this case or get new headphones, because the buttons work pretty well and I feel protected otherwise. There's always the risk that new headphones wouldn't fit either, since "plug width" is not a stat anybody measures.This is a knockoff of the similar Spigen case, which does appear? to have the better-designed larger headphone hole.

    I am extremely pleased with this product. I still carry around my Samsung S7 as my non-work phone because it still suits my purposes, is in good condition, and easily fits in my shirt pocket. The Otter case that I originally purchased with the phone, however, had worn to the point that pieces were breaking off, leaving the phone exposed to potential damage. I considered buying a replacement Otter case, but I couldn't bring myself to spend that much money on (what is considered to be) a premium cover to protect an old phone. I searched for other, less expensive options, but many of them would have added significant bulk to the phone's profile to the point where it would no longer fit in my pocket. I came across this JETech model online and was intrigued. The price was right and looked to be comparable to my old Otter case. After receiving it, I found it to be a surprisingly good quality item. It fits the phone like a glove and made the phone's overall profile even smaller than what I had with the Otter. The button covers even seem to work better. My old phone is like new again, causing me to wish I had purchased this item a year ago.

    The case looks good with my S7 (all black) and isn't bulky. It is comfortable to hold and the power/lock and volume buttons work well through the case.

    The main reason I bought it is that all the edges are covered and the case creates a raised lip at the edge of the screen. I had a holster / case for my last phone, a Galaxy S5, which I liked until I happened to fumble it and the bottom screen edge, which wasn't protected, hit the concrete and cracked the glass. I don't think there would have been any damage if I had a case like this on the phone at the time.

    I wish JETech would offer a holster that would work with this case. Although I found a belt clip in my drawer that can securely hold the phone with this case on, it's not ideal (about 1/2" too short), I might have to get a leather belt clip pouch to use instead.

    I like how quickly and easily I can take it off to put it on my wireless charger and put back on. I wouldn't have to remove it for charging if not for my popsocket but it is holding up nicely and it doesn't seem like taking it off and putting back on repetitively throughout the day every day is having any negative effects as it is quite durable. The scuffs and scratches are visible due to the soft feeling rubber it's made of but they wipe off easily with a little rubbing if that's something that bothers you. I have tried a few of the other popular phone cases that offer more protection but this is the one for me. Very user friendly and compliments the phone nicely! And the popsocket's still sticking by the way. Changed my rating from four to five stars.

    Slight Concern: The Tech21 had a silicon insert along the entire perimeter of the phone which seems like it would be more protective, BUT...this also added to the bulk. The JETech is reinforced in the corners but thinner along the sides. This may make sense as even if it fell perfectly flat on its side the corners could absorb the shock. Time will tell if it protects as well as the Tech21 did.
    Conclusion: I feel good about this purchase for "The Good" cited above and not so concerned regarding the "Slight Concern" cited above. Time will tell on durability and protection but at this juncture I recommend this case.

    My boyfriend has had his Galaxy s7 for 4+ yrs. And he has had the same boring case for the same duration. A couple of weeks ago, out of nowhere, this boring, simple case just broke. I mean, it literally just broke in his hands. So I bought him this case based off the reviews as well as a new screen protector that I read about in the questions/answers section above. Well guys, this is a really nice looking case! Right away he kept talking about how much he likes it. This case looks so clean. The carbon fiber gives it more depth than the plain basic case he previously had. It fits perfectly to the curved beveled edges of the S7. It's very eye pleasing and slim but sturdy. He's been pretty content with it as of today. Says he feels as if he has a brand new phone. I definitely scored a few extra points in the GF department thanks to these reviews! 😉

    The good:
    Fits perfectly
    Raised front lip protects the front from damage when placing phone down
    Material feels sturdy and seems like it will protect the phone from a fall
    Looks great

    The bad:
    The case has no real grip to it. The back is really smooth and what looks like rubberized grip along the edges is more for looks as it feels rather smooth. I had a cheap TPU one I got from Ebay that was smooth but gripped like rubber. It was easy to hold in one hand as i could lay it flat on my fingers while using my thumb on the screen. The one you have to tightly grip around it so it reduces how far my thumb can move on the screen. If you have really big hands then this is not a problem, but with smaller hands it is more difficult. If this case had a better non-slip grip surface I would rate it 5 stars as I like everything else about it.
