    Great but flawed
    I really liked the camera and handle, but I’m returning it after a few days. The video quality was really good except mostly useless in low light, and I really liked the handle and controls.However, the handle doesn’t pair well with the media mod case due to the cord, which makes it a weird pairing to sell. The tension of the coiled cord made the metal connection of the usb-c end pop out. I hadn’t even used them together yet, it was sitting on a desk when it happened, so it was definitely the pull of the cord and not any other impact. If only the cord was removable, so you could use the Bluetooth connection instead without the cord being in the way.When not using the mod case, there is a different side door you put on the GoPro so the cord plugs in much deeper, making it so the strain isn’t on the metal plug but on a rubbery connection that seals the power area, which works really well.

    Want a camera that is going to allow you to capture it all and is convenient to travel with, you have found what you have been looking for.  I did not originally think the cost of this camera was something my wife and I needed for our cruise vacations.  We bought a cheaper camera and while it did okay, we decided for the last cruise to upgrade to the GoPro.  WOWWWWWWWWWWWW, best choice ever.  The clarity of the video, the ease of tripod setup, crisp sound, just sharp, I just love this thing.  The camera adjusts, allowing you to capture every angle wanted.  I had no problem carrying it around on deck and didn't have to worry about big, bulky carrying cases.  The package came with everything you needed to get started besides the memory stick.  If you are wondering if the costs match the value the answer is YESSSSSSS!

    I like how the phone connects to your camera. The app is easy to use and allows you to transfer your camera to your phone with. You don’t need a GoPro subscription for that. I’m really glad I bought this camera. Super small and solid design. I heard it has some issues performing in the snow and cold. But I don’t do that stuff. I recommend buying a second battery with a charger. This bundle came with two batteries.

    I took this snorkeling (attached to the floating handle), and it worked great. It did a decent job of color correction and especially image stabilization. I snapped it into a GoPro mount at the XPlor park in Playa del Carmen and used it zip lining, swimming through rivers, and on the big slide there. Someone had fortunately left a GoPro mount on one of the helmets and it worked great for me.

    With beep mode on, I could reach up on top of my head and push the shutter button once, hear it beep 3 times, and know that it is now recording video. I could hit the button again later and hear it beep 7 times and know that it is stopping video and powering down to conserve battery. That worked great!

    No zoom lens, so I still prefer taking photos with my iPhone 15 Pro when given the choice, but for underwater or other sketchy situations, or when image stabilization is needed, this works great.

    Camera keeps turning itself off and on after I turn it on. Contacted customer service who said I needed to buy a different SD card. I am using a Scandisk Ultra card which worked fine when I first began using this camera. GoPRO is now saying that I should be using a Scandisk Extreme and they said that “yes, it will work with Scandisk Ultra, but it will stop working and you need to purchase a Scandisk Extreme card.” What? It works, but then it won’t work and I have to spend more money? And, everytime I use the camera it tries to upsell me on their cloud subscription, which I have to acknowledge and dismiss before I can use the camera. DON’T WALK, RUN FROM THIS CAMERA! There are lots better options out there that perform better and have longer battery life.

    I wanted a solution that would work for recording my hiking and trail running adventures. This has been a great solution. The Volta grip adds a lot of battery life and makes it easier to start and stop recording. It's also easy to hold to a long time as I recorded just about 2 hours of continuous running holding it the entire time and my arm and hand didn't get tired.

    The video quality is excellent and the sound is good. I also like the HDR functionality which I think should be a standard on all recording and display devices now - our eyes see like this so it's time that cameras do as well.

    The one thing that I haven't liked is that I've had the red light of death where the GoPro freezes and won't respond to input. I had to remove the battery and re-seat the battery to use it again. In addition, there seem to be times when it works perfectly and then gets finicky and won't record when you want it to. Hopefully these are software issues that can be fixed. Overall I am happy with it and it's a gigantic improvement over the Hero 6 that I have. I'd wait to get it on sale though (it goes to $499 as of this review) or buy it when the 13 comes out and this is discounted.

    Ya antes tenía otro producto del gopro (Hero+) y el salto de funcionalidades y tecnología es bastante. Me gustó que esta versión de Creator Edition el bastón tiene una batería que ayuda a que la duración sea al doble o más (me falta probarla más tiempo). La luz aunque es pequeña alumbra bien para una persona. Lo único que si observe pero no me ha provocado falla es que se calienta algo la carcaza. De lo demás la veo muy bien.
