I mean what can you say about cat litter. Well quite a bit as it turns out according to my wife. This product has become our go to brand. We both hate scented litter, so this works and why the "scent" portion of my rating is so high...this stuff is bentonite and is, as claimed, simply unscented. The non tracking version of Fresh Step is great if you can find it. My only gripe is the stuff is getting increasingly pricey, but then so has shipping and this is simply heavy.

The price of cat litter on Amazon has gone up so much that I’ve had to try to find a different kind as I could no longer afford the one I really like. (Price on the one I like went from about $18,00 for a 42 lb box (4 10.5 lbs bags in a box got a total of 42 lbs is now over $58,00, in just a few months! So I tried this one. The litter itself is ok, but it’s a heavy box to carry so no longer as convenient. Now I need help moving it near the cat box when it gets delivered. And it has more dust than the prior fresh step product I previously mentioned. I’m going to keep shopping cuz my couple of cats seem to go through a lot of litter.

Fresh Step's multi-cat unscented clumping litter is the best. I've tried nearly every other brand over the years but I like this one best. Usually "unscented" brands are somewhat nauseating. If that's how they affect me, what about my cat with her more sensitive nose. The granular matter is pretty small -- a consideration for tender feet. And it clumps well -- easy to remove. I can't say anything about how the litter is with odors because I clean her litter box several times a day, whenever it needs it, so there is no odor. This product rates an A+ with both of us!

I figured to order from here bc I was already placing an order. I normally get my pet supplies from Chewy (but when I went to their site, they were out of stock) so I figured kill 2 birds w/1 stone! I don't know if it's a different formulation or what, but that is NOT the same litter I buy! It's a darker, thinner consistency when pouring in- the dust uprise nearly knocked me on my bumm! I use the litter genie to scoop & bag until trash day, but even with scooping - I wound up putting baking soda in bc I actually started smelling cat! I have 4 cats, 4 litter pans &&& all the years having them- I have been told by people I know or even others guests " if they didn't know or even see my cats, they'd never know I had any bc it didn't smell like a litter box". Well, thank God I haven't had many guests lately because not only is it disgusting, it's quite embarrassing!

The only litter I've been happy with, after trying many. No lingering smell, no weird cover-up scents, and low on dust.
Other litters I can smell whenever one of my two cats have done their business, but with this one I'm clueless.
The boxes are a little hard to pour and carry, but if it keeps the price down on this litter formula I will gladly suck it up.
