When you initially put it in the litter box it is very strong, great if you have guest coming over and you want to be sure that the litter box isn't causing an offensive smell. However, after the cat uses the litter box, the smell disappears. For the price, I would purchase it again, mainly to pour into the litter box to cover up any smells before a guest comes.
