Desk was on sale and bought the Maple 55 inch.
Ships in two shipments, the top and the motorized bottom.
Not too bad to put together. Instructions are clear, however it does say to adjust the crossbar early on in instructions. But you aren't going to be able to do that until you are mounting to the top so you can line the holes up. So I would just ignore that step or make it a little wider to give you some working room.
Once it comes time to mount the top do one screw top/bottom on one side. Then loosen the crossbar and transmission rod and extend until until you lined up the other side with the holes. Once all screwed in tighten the rod and crossbar.
One thing I think would have helped was a guide on where the center of the crossbar extension was so you could extend it in a balanced way. I just eyeballed it. Most the weight is going to go to the legs anyway so not concerned.
As far as predrilled holes go, they lined up perfectly on left/right side. There is no predrilled holes for the crossbar however you don't need a drill the wood is soft enough to just screw into with a bit of force.
Theres also no predrilled hole for the back of the up/down switch but again not a problem. Theres plenty of holes to position the switch where you want (though it must be on the right side of the desk near the motor since the cords aren't that long).
One other nitpick is the bracket that holds the power adapter doesn't lock into place. It just slides around freely. Being nitpicky though its not a functional problem.
All pieces were there. The top looks really nice but it isn't heavy enough to be solid maple. But all put together the desk has good weight and very sturdy. Motor works well, I actually didn't even buy it for being a standing desk so thats a bonus. It was a good price even if it didn't have that feature.

-sturdy and good weight to it
-motor is enough to do the job.
-not bad to put together. No frustrating moments. Takes about an hour. Only need a sturdy philips screwdriver no drill needed.
-top is one solid piece
-its deep! Most cheaper desks are 20-24 inches. 28 inches is a very noticeable difference.
-good price
-the desk gets very tall, I was surprised. I am 6'2 and it got more than tall enough for me.

Maybe not the best QC, but excellent customer service
Let's be brutally honest here, this company is honestly offering the best bang for your buck in the realm of sit-stand desks. If you're the handy type, willing to deal with some quirks of this build, you will be rewarded with a very decent table. The desktop has a great finish despite its cheaper material. The desk is quite stable, shocking at this price point. The legs move very smoothly and at a good speed.That said, the quality control was rather poor. My box arrived with absolutely no damage whatsoever but there was significant damage to some of the parts. It appears they assemble the parts momentarily as part of the QC and then disassemble them, but as during that process the severely damaged a critical area where the desktop gets bolted to the legs. The threading was stripped and the hole itself was no longer straight. Completely unusable, and even worse, right around the corner from the damage was the "PASSED QC" sticker....I contacted Flexispot customer service through Amazon and they replied within a day. They immediately shipped out a replacement. The package arrived within 2 days and to my surprise they sent out an entire replacement kit for the legs when I was just expecting the 2 individual parts. Now I have replacement parts in case anything breaks. Awesome!All the parts in the replacement kit were perfect.Now that we are past that, lets talk about the building process itself. The quality of the desk is fine enough, but the manual leaves something to be desired. Many steps seem to skip certain instructions and others are very vague. It's also a shame that no washers are included, as they would really benefit some of connections where the bolt head is almost the same size as the hole of another part that is being secured. Pretty odd design choice.There are pre drilled holes for the legs, but none of them even came close to aligning with my base for the 60 inch desktop version. The holes were only usable for the controller. I had to drill my own holes for the legs. Overall, the building process is a big headache, especially waiting for replacement parts. But the customer service was absolutely top notch and that deserves commendation. I also want to mention that I am very close to a warehouse for the company, so that may be another reason why my replacement parts came so quickly.
