    This case is thicker and better padded than the first one I tried. I hold my tablet in one hand while I play spider solitaire, and the rounded (and sewn) edges make a huge difference. (The other one actually felt sharp because the edges just ended - no padding or rounding.) I also prefer this stand. It just stays put and I don't have to fold it up to stand it up (which I'm guessing could wear out those folds much faster). A couple of the pictures show the difference between this case and the one I returned. I also like that the front cover has a slot for sticking papers. Handy on occasion. I'm not sure this has an actual magnetic close, but it does sleep and open the tablet. This one is definitely worth a few dollars more for comfort in holding/carrying and more padding. And it's pretty.

    I saw another user have an issue with the power button being too stiff, causing issues. I had this problem, too. It was half pressing the power button even after I had the tablet fully pressed in and settled. So it kept wanting to turn off, but couldn't. It kept cycling. With some popping in and out, it seems to have stopped. So it's snug, but may need breaking in to not push on that. I would try to seat the device opposite of the buttons first and then wiggle the device in. The other user cut some slits to make the button not as firm. I haven't done that, yet. Hopefully it breaks in well and it's no longer an issue.

    The rest of the case is nice. The materials don't feel cheap. I do wish the cover felt more snug when closed. It will shift a little bit and the "binder" area has a bit of unnecessary open space. But it's really a minor quibble. I also wish it had magnets to keep the cover closed. It uses a strap that you can use to secure it, which I didn't notice in pictures. Not really something I want to use. But the sleep mode works as it should, going to sleep as soon as the cover is closed and waking up immediately upon opening. The front cover also has a pocket to put papers or cards or such. And the rest of the case works as you'd hope it would.

    The tablet does fit very well into the rubber backing. The S pen fits nicely into the available pocket or into the nook notched into the case itself. Even tho there is a thin layer of rubber the pen in that nook, it seems to attach as strongly as it would to just the device. The pocket opposite fits the pen snugly and has two slits to reach in and pop the S pen out.

    Overall, once used to this case, I think it's one I'll use long term...

    I really like this case for my new S6 Lite. I especially like the pen holder slot because I am particularly prone to setting my S pen down and forgetting where I left it. Now, I just pop it in the slot of the case, and it's right there when I need it. I saw one review where the person said they had a hard time getting the S pen out of the slot, but there are a couple of sizeable holes in the back of the slot that you can just push out with your finger and the pen pops right out... easy peasy. The case has three slots for adjusting the horizontal viewing angle. The only thing it doesn't do is give me a vertical option for a stand, but I think that is fairly typical. I had an external metal stand for my previous tablet that I can put it on for that, and I don't even have to take it out of the case... I merely fold the cover back, and it fits nicely into the stand. I got a matte screen protector that is also working well even with the S pen. And, I love the elastic closure so it feels secure. Granted I have only had it about a week, but overall I am very pleased with the case.

    Had this a few months now, and it is a great case. Looks good and is durable. Sleep mode on it works perfectly. Holds the pen nicely and even lets you put the pen on the outside of the case if you want - though I would not. A little hard to get the tablet in initially, but it holds it tight.
