I've come to prefer TPU screen protectors over glass. This is mostly because I've had several glass protectors shatter, break and crumble, or crack. The glass protectors do their job, but TPU in my option does better. I like the self healing properties of TPU. Over the last 3 years of switching to TPU protectors, I've had some rough scratches. Each time my phone screen was perfectly protected and in about 24 hours, the TPU self leveled and the scratch was gone. I've also had less issues with fingerprint detection when using TPU protectors over glass protectors. This is the first time I've purchased a FANGTIAN TPU protector and it is mostly because there are not many options for the Pixel 8 Pro yet. I typically always go through two protectors on the first install for each phone. This is mostly because of the slight installation variances between vendors and their alignment guides. When installing this protector, I first started to remove the wrong film. Hold the colored film tabs and then grasp the smaller clear tag. Be careful to peel off the clear film and leave the TPU protector stuck to the colored film. The colored film (blue/green) attaches to the alignment guide on the phone. After that, the install was pretty easy. No bubbles, crystal clear protection. I'm very happy.

The mounting system they have makes it very easy to put these films on with little effort or flaws. Most of copart is trying to do it without having a piece of dust fly in there before you apply it. The texture is nice, not feeling too rubbery. It seems quite durable and withstands a good amount of abrasion. I'm pretty tough on my phone's. I feel much more confident having this on the screen.

I have a Pixel 8 Pro. Lets me emphasize that again! Make sure you install this film protector in a big open area that is dust free or else you will end up wasting yet another film! I learned this the hard way, on my third try did I managed to succeed!
I didn't bother with the whole setup or the snap on guide. I just slightly aligned from the top and gently let go of the film onto the screen and the rest was just scrubbing out any residual air bubbles. The screen looks good overall, I haven't encountered any issue even during the day under bright light, the smudge or anti smudge finger prints works well but like all protector with or without . Any oil on your fingers will generally leave some sort of residue. I have a case over my phone yet the film doesn't seem to cause me any issues with the fingerprint reader as with other users. If you do encounter it, I would even recommend turning on the sensitivity of the screen in order to compensate for the screen protector but I haven't had any issues at all. The phone goes in and out of my pocket and I haven't seen any scuff mark as of yet so that is a good thing. Originally, before I bought this screen protector...I was thinking thin film where I had to spray on and then rubbed over the screen but the film is sort like a thin hard plastic so that makes aligning easy during the installation process.

This is my second round of this brand. Meaning I bought some for my 7 pro also and loved it. I gave my 7 to my daughter and she likes the film over the glass on these models also. This brand is so very easy to apply! Anyone can do it. It goes on virtually by itself without issue or bubbles as long as you cleaned it well. So easy! And very durable, I definitely put my oldish phone through it's paces. The fingerprint reader reads much more easily and you don't have to use increase screen sensitivity. No glaring and having to tip it to see the screen. I can't say enough good things about this protector. Don't hesitate.
