Greatest kickstand case however.
Best kickstand ever. It allows for portrait viewing and landscape, plus the kickstand allows the angle to be adjusted so that you don't get any glare in landscape mode. The case covers the shiny metal front edge of the Samsung S24 plus phone completely, which I like, as then the only light you see is from the screen and not a distracting metal border!However, when removing the phone from your pocket, you should grab both edges of the phone because if you pinch the screen and pull it out by the lip of the case, then the case lip will eventually stretch and deform, and you will see the metal edge around the phone again. Plus, if you do this too much, it can deform all four corners to the point that the phone can easily fall out of the case. Notice in the picture how the top edge and all four corners have deformed. I'm going to get a replacement and be careful about pinching the phone and pulling by the lip of the case on my replacement when removing it from my pockets. Otherwise, as long as you don't tug on the edges, this is a great kickstand case because most kickstands do not support both landscape and portrait modes.Also, a quick tip. When on an airplane, you can use the food tray to put the kickstand behind and close the food tray so that the kickstand arm is sandwiched between the tray and the seat in front of you. This will hold the phone up higher, and you can save your neck from strain and don't have to constantly look down at the phone on your lap or resting on the open food tray to watch a movie.

This is a case that does a very good job of protecting the S24 Ultra while also giving the option of using a screen guard with a built-in screen protector. The case arrives with the screen guard without the screen protector attached to the back part of the case. You have to separate the screen guard from the back and place the phone in the front part before placing into the back. You might want to use a flathead screw driver(as I did) for that.
Pros
• You have the option of using the screen guard with built-in screen protector, but you don't have to. The display still looks very good with the protector on.
• The sides of the case are double layered & the corners are shock absorbing. ESR claims that this offers better than military grade protection. I cannot attest to that fact, but there is no reason to doubt it by the appearance of the case. I also like that the corners are somewhat rounded.
• The side and volume control buttons are easy to access and push.
• The case comes with a kickstand which is metal and seems very stable in either landscape or portrait mode. In landscape orientation, the kickstand angle can vary continuously from 30 degrees to 60 degrees.
• The case comes with individual camera lens protectors.
• The case is not MagSafe-well, that's a pro if you don't want MagSafe, since the S-pen works better without the magnetic interference.
• The phone is very hard to remove from the case. That is a pro since it indicates that the phone is well-protected & won't easily fall out of the case if dropped.
Cons
• The two sections make the case a little bulky and also a little longer & wider, though it is still light and fairly easy to hold.
• The instructions could be a little clearer-particularly for using the screen guard with built-in screen protector. There should also be instructions about removing the case. As mentioned above, it is very hard to do, though I was probably not doing it the best way.
• The S-pen works OK with the screen protector, but it is definitely not as smooth and almost feels like it sticks to the protector a little. Also, you will probably have to redo your fingerprint if using the screen protector. I cannot recommend using screen guard with protector unless you really want the extra protection for the screen and don't want to buy a separate screen protector.
• The phone is very hard to remove from the case. That is a con since one might want to remove the phone from the case more than occasionally to clean off dust, use a USB-C drive, or change cases, perhaps.
• The case is not MagSafe-that’s a con if you really want that feature. There are rings available(including one from ESR) that one can attach on the back to make a non-MagSafe case into a MagSafe one. I have not tried that with this case to see if it would work well, but I suspect that the kickstand might interfere.

1. The front lip is raised same as the Spigen case so screen protection is similar. Spigen lip is bit thicker not sure if that would provide more protection.
2. ESR mentions military grade protection. Both brands offer air cushioning protection for the edges.
3. ESR case feels lighter and slimmer than the Spigen case.
4. The kickstand is where the ESR shines. It allows for vertical and horizontal standing orientation as well as different angles between 0 to 60 degrees.
At current the ESR costs same or less than the Spigen case so it is a better value for money at present, and offers a better kickstand.
